My spouse and I got denied and they refused to give us a reason as to why. The service was very poor, they allowed us to look at multiple places after we got accepted and later told us that we were denied.
The process took way longer than they originally said and half of the rentals they have available are in terrible locations and extremely run down and not livable.
The man who took us on the viewings the second time had forgotten the keys to these rentals we were looking at and constantly had to leave us at the location to go back to the property management place to go grab the correct keys. Half of them didn’t even work to get into the buildings.
None of the places had been cleaned before viewing them, there was garbage around and leakage from the ceilings.
Extremely unimpressed and will not be going through them again.
Sad to say that most of the listings that I went to go see looked NOTHING like the photos they had up.

I entrusted Action Property with two of my units for over 14 years. Unfortunately there were only two management companies in Fort St. John at that time. I trusted they were doing quarterly maintenance inspections and taking care of my property. I think over the years they got too busy with many properties and failed in their inspections and property care.
This past year some damage occurred that could have been avoided had they been on top of things. Now that I look back over the years and the damages that occurred over time I realize they were not on top of maintenance inspections. Had they been it could have saved me money.
I have now moved properties to Kare.

Dealing with this company has been nothing but a headache. The first experience was terrible, and the second time was even worse when they took over a lease from another rental company—everything went downhill fast. They manage the worst rentals in town, overcharge for subpar units, and take advantage of tenants. Despite leaving the place in better condition than we received it, we only got $200 back from a $600 security deposit, and the place probably looks the same. Avoid this company unless you want to deal with overpriced, poorly managed properties and shady business practices.

Absolutely do not rent from this place. Moved into the teske rancher home & there were yellow blinds from all the smoking that was done in the home prior, Stained carpet, faint cigarette smell, holes in yard, empty cans left under the deck and more. (I assumed it would’ve been all dealt with before we moved in but I guess not). We have moved out & the damage deposit was used on a huge cleaning bill and a paint job? (Was absolutely NOT needed) we left the place immaculate. Very disappointed, do not recommend!!

Terrible experience. They had a few places lined up but someone got to them before us. After that all they were planning on showing us were the dirtiest most rundown places in fort st john. I had been living in Veronica townhouses when it burnt down and action was supposed to fast track the applications but can't have a place until most likely the end of June.

I was denied my viewing today because I said I'm disabled and use the taxi. Total discrimination. I asked for a manager and this person called me a liar and didn't resolve the disgusting lack of work ethics nor call me back to apologize for taking time from my day and father who is dying

Furthermore a young mother had come in about her door to her house not locking, shed waited 3 days with no response and the desk attendant called her husband rude and walked away while the lady was talking.

100 will be reporting to bbb as this is shady practice and complete bias and discrimination against a disabled individual

When I moved in, I had to clean the place myself. Cat urine everywhere, moldy clothes in the washer, they even gave me a bottle of mold spray to clean the mold off the walls. Took days of cleaning to be in a livable condition. They offered me a cleaning credit, which I recieved 4 years later.. 40 dollars. This is just one of many negative experiences I have had with this company.
