I had to move to my new apartment yesterday and it was an urgent arrangement. Alberta strong movers came through for me. I called them in the morning, and they were here promptly. I required for the services of Alberta strong movers earlier this week and I was not disappointed. The crew that was sent got here at the agreed time and ensure all my items were properly wrapped to avoid damages. They are hard working and very good at what they do. Horrible experience & I absolutely do not recommend this moving company!!!
The movers were supposed to come at 8am. They showed up after 12pm. That right there was not a good start to things.
It seemed like the first two fellows were being careful & respectful of the items they were moving. 3/4 of the way thru, a third guy got called in & from that point on everything went downhill.
No care was given towards the items they were moving. Their attitude was let's be quick, even if we are careless.
I have a hutch now with a ripped off leg, a living room chair with a huge rip in the arm, and multiple dings and scratches going down my basement stairwell.
We ordered pizza for the guys since no one had packed any food. Had they been on time they would have been finished moving us by 5:30 pm. It wasn't until after 9:30pm that they were finally ready to leave.
The movers were told to collect money from me before leaving & I was offered a 10% discount for our inconvenience. Really?!
I said that I would think things over & settle up the next day. Keep in mind it was 9:30 at night, we were completely exhausted, and we still had to get a bed put together for us to sleep in.
Well, the movers were then told that they weren't allowed to leave until they collected money from me.
When I refused again I was handed a phone so that I could speak to the "boss". He was angry, rude, and unapologetic.
In the end I received $500 off of my bill. And the "boss" was sure to tell me in a very angry tone that that's the lowest he will go. A very small compensation considering what a nightmare the whole move had been.
Oh and once I actually reviewed my bill the next day I noticed I was charged for mattress covers and packing tape. None of which were even used!
The ladies who answer the phone and book the services are nice. And that is the one & only positive comment I can make.

We had a move with these guys a couple days ago and were very happy with the service. They worked very quickly and efficiently and everything arrived safely. Great experience and highly recommend! We will definitely be using them again in the future for our next move.

Had a great experience with this team! They are all extremely polite responsive and attentive people, they were very responsible with all the furniture and were very responsible in making sure everything ran smoothly and perfect. I would highly recommended them for their intangible experience and hard work.

Handled the job very quickly and was able to get everything requested with no issues. On top of that, they have a lot cheaper prices than many other moving companys! Would highly recommend

Great bunch of guys, worked super hard to get the job done. Very friendly, curtious and careful all furniture covered with moving blankets. And on short notice. Also reasonably priced. No problem using this company agian.
