So happy to have my iPhone 16 pro back! The repair person is only in Tuesdays and Thursday I guess so it was a tough wait (only a few days but I’m in love with my phone lol) but my warranty covered the repair and I’m so happy to have it back, working and no white lines in my screen anymore. 🙂 thank you so much!

Took in my iPad as the battery was not charging well. Expected a battery replacement. Altair ran a diagnostic and found that the battery was fine. The issue was how I was charging it with the USB wall plug instead of the “ cube” provided by Apple.
It was returned to me with a “ waived diagnostic fee” . Thank you Altair

I was unable to remove my cracked glass screen protector from my ipad. The gentleman here was so kind and within minutes had my cracked protector removed. I really appreciated his professionalism and friendliness in solving my problem. If I have any issues with my phone or computers in the future, I will definitely be going there.

Have brought Mac book pro here and my partners too. Always able to take us in and fix quickly. Prices are very fair. If they can't do something they give us names and contacts to get the help we need. (Rare because they do everything) but never simply say no. I highly recommend them.

Fast turn around very skilled and affordable. Lots of communication prior to doing work. Once they diagnosed and I came to get it and do some data recovery first. They didn't want to charge me to diagnose. I'll be back. Have used them many times and will continue to. Mac lap top household. Fixed 2 of them so far.

Neutral rating given my wife's experience.

It took a bit of back and forth for my wife to get her phone taken care of. She had a warranty repair covered under Apple Care, the initial difficulty was around the process of getting things fixed, since she needed to do a full backup due to the phone getting swapped out rather than fixed - this was not well communicated, so she just handed her phone over.

After she got the new phone, she brought it home to restore it. After the restore, she didn't have any cell service - I found out it was because there was no SIM card installed in the device. Clearly the SIM card was not swapped over before giving her the new device. However, after going back to the store, she was told there was no SIM card in the device.

I checked my cell service provider's website to disable the SIM card 24 hours after the device had been out of our hands and found out that 23 phone calls had been made from the device in the last 2 hours.

This is extremely suspicious behavior and indicates either poor chain of custody or poor communication (that a SIM card should have been removed prior to providing the device). Improvements somewhere on one of these categories is necessary for a better outcome.

Unfortunately, this removes any confidence I have in bringing future work to this business.

Excellent customer service! Friendly and professional! They repaired my iPhone covered by AppleCare+ (they were recommended by Apple when I called to ask about my options in Kingston). I wish I’d known about this place sooner!

They actually repaired my iPhone over the Christmas holiday. I dropped it off the Friday before Christmas (minutes before they closed) so I was shocked when they called on Boxing Day to tell me it was fixed and ready to go. Pick up and payment was super easy! It was covered under my AppleCare+ so the cost was minimal and exactly as expected.

This will be the only place I take my iPhones going forward. I also love the location; no downtown traffic and ample free parking in their own lot in the west end!

This is mostly Apple's fault, but I blame both. Altair replaced my non-warrantied MacBook Pro screen for $1300. Seven months later the screen just stopped working.

This is when I learned neither Altair nor Apple stand behind their work after six months. They should all be ashamed.
