Recently, I worked with Sam who kept me in the loop and helped me work through solutions to get my car fixed on budget. She was a one stop shop for all my planning needs.

The work done on the vehicle was great. It looks better than it did before it was damaged.

I recently had a collision repair on my Kia Soul. Most of the passenger side was crunched and the right front mechanical components were damaged. The repairs are awesome. The paint job matched perfectly. A big shout out to Samantha. She kept me informed through the entire process. She was very knowledgeable and showed she cared. (Yes I got the tires swapped and the alignment was perfect).

I had an great experience at Assured Concordia Ottawa West. My car was unfortunately doored and needed repair; thankfully, the repair process was a breeze. From start to finish, everything was quick and efficient and Samantha kept me updated every step of the way. The repair was done within a few days and my car looks as good as new. They even cleaned the inside which was a nice surprise. Great service, highly recommend!

Avoid at all costs. If your insurance company wants to tow you here, fight them tooth and nail.

Like the other one-star reviews stated, their communication style and frequency is abysmal. I had to start emailing and calling every day to get updates on things they said that they would call and update me about. If the car needs more time to repair, just tell me that! Don’t say “oh yeah maybe I’ll go check” and then not answer call or emails until closing time.

I waited several months for my theft recovery vehicle to be repaired. Not their fault that the parts are very backed up, that’s fine.

What is their fault is that I was told the vehicle was ready on a Friday afternoon (after agreeing to use aftermarket parts just to get car back), and driving across town to see my car covered in tape, tape marks, new scratches and dirty. They cleaned it up and sent me on my merry way while they closed up shop. As soon as I took the car out of their parking lot I realized that the doors wouldn’t lock. On my theft recovery vehicle. Luckily someone was still there so I could leave my car behind again. The following week they fixed the door locks but refused to answer me several times when I asked if they’d done a mechanical inspection at any point. I know they hadn’t, but I wanted them to fess up and then just do one.

I had to fight with them and my insurance for a week before my insurance company had some kind of auditor call them and tell them to do a mechanical inspection and an alignment on my car. Let that sink in: they didn’t test their work to see if the doors locked after “fixing” it, and they didn’t do ANY mechanical or road tests. In a theft recovery vehicle. Lunacy!

I finally have my car back, and I’ve cleaned up all the oily fingerprints, dusty bum impressions, and leftover shards of glass I found under my seat by cutting myself on them. The microphone in my car still doesn’t work, I had to make an appointment at Toyota which is fine. Found the microphone issue on the day I picked up my car, reported it to them. They called a few dealerships but nobody picked up. When I emailed them two days later to ask if they’d heard back from anyone (not expecting anything from them) they proved me right by not responding to my email at all.

TL;DR Avoid at all costs unless you have a little ding or a scratch that they can buff out. Take your car to another shop for any other kind of repair. They either don't know what they’re doing, or they don’t care because they’re busy thanks to the wave of thefts, or both.

Double edit: Still no contact which is par for the course for them for anyone reading. Their reply is boilerplate “golly gosh we’re so reasonable”.

I can't even think of anything that could have been done better. I had a feeling as if I was the only client they were servicing, full attention, timely updates. Got picked up by an Enterprise driver, left the rental car in Assured's parking lot after picking up my car. 5 stars well deserved!
