Visiting from out of town and staying in Fruitvale and had issues where I ran my Kia Niro EV auxiliary 12V batery down and had some concerns about its health after a boost from another car. Called in. They took me in immediately and we had a diagnosis within 5 minutes. The battery was fine and the service from everyone was amazing.

EDIT: Fixed spelling/grammar and fixed the star review from 3 to 5. Not sure how that happened but 5 stars+++ if I could.

This is the type of mechanic you want. A place where you’re welcomed, and all your questions are answered honestly. I recently had work done, and they called me afterward to ask me to stop by. They checked my vehicle and fixed the issue since it was still under the repair warranty. How many places go the extra mile like that? You can tell they truly care about what they do and the people they serve. I highly recommend bringing all your automotive needs here.

First and foremost, Jason has an INSANE work ethic. Inexplicably, he still has the time to say “hi” to even the most annoying customers…

They have this kootenay-inspired drive to keep you away (lol) with the utmost sense of thankless integrity to get you on your way. NO up-selling. Just small town service with somehow big city competitiveness.

Salute to these guys, saved on money and time,had brakedown on my dodge RAM 3500 diesel i tried every single mechanic in Trail BC,Castlegar,Nelson and Creston but they were holding me for next 4-5 days and dodge dealership they even diagnosed my truck but didnt find any problem and said its something major issue internally , luckily i found these guys on google and won the jackpot , Jason found the problem in first 15 seconds and i was on my way to Edmonton within 2 hours , great customer service and rates. Travelling through fruitvale had noticed an issue with my front end. Stopped in to get it checked out. Was in and out in to time and back on the road. Super friends staff and rates are very reasonable. Definitely recommend anyone with vehicle issues to go here.

Jason and the Main Street Motors crew went above and beyond when I had engine problems with my 2010 Subaru Forester. They are honest, caring, flexible, and provided options on how to proceed, with no pressure. They gained a customer for life. We are lucky to have them in Fruitvale!
