Used to love this place until 3 weeks ago. The owners are very nice prices are way too high. And if the Son or whoever it is works there he closes way too early.
I am on my way back from there. it is currently 8:00 and online it says they are open till 10:00. The other day he had a sign that said 30 minute break I sat there for 45 minutes and it was still not open. If they want to be open later then at least stay open till the time they set it at.

I must admit that when I heard there would be new owners, I was worried that the service might go downhill. I was most definitely worrying for no reason. The new owners are wonderful! Friendly, courteous, helpful and they changed their hours! We can now get groceries up to 2200h, which is awesome on those nights when you realize that you forgot to pick up lunch essentials for your kids. Their produce is superb and prices are great! Highly recommend this old fashioned little grocery store.

I want to explain that I still think that the people who run Len's Food are fantastic. Why I am dropping my rating by two stars is because of the prices they charge at this store. I used to go to this store regularly and I still choose this store over Island Market. However, in the past, I chose this store over Island Market was because Len's didn't charge as high as Island Market did, but now, they are no different. They once charged 15 dollars for a deodorant! I expect that kind of price in Monaco, not in a rural Alberta hick town! Milk is 9 dollars! If I am buying 9 dollar milk, my bones better be indestructible. I want to reiterate, the owners are still awesome people, but the prices they charge in their store is not so awesome, especially considering they aren't locally produced products or anything, but rather the same products you could buy at Walmart or Safeway for half the price.

Lens foods is the best!!!! They always help you out when you need it and they also help carry your items to your vehicle. The staff are friendly and the groceries like fruits and meats are always fresh!!! I would highly give them. 10 out of 10!!!! Awesome people who really care about their business! Thank you Lens for your friendly service and great produce!
