What a rip off, if you're a contractor.
Cost 500$ a year just to get "BBB" on your website. You also get accredited, but that doesn't mean anything considering you're now placed on the bottom, so no one can even see you and they don't do anything for you. You're then pressured to pay more to get closer to the top so you may potentially get noticed.
They're basically just using the fact that they have been around for ever and charging ridiculous money for doing nothing.
Way to expensive for what you get. I wish I never did it.

Re: Krazy K's Television Sales & Service
Located on Jefferson Blvd. Windsor

John and his staff responded to my call for help with a broken television. In less than 24 hours they delivered my new TV, set it up for me and even took away the old TV.

I highly recommend this company to anyone in search of new electronics. They were helpful, considerate, and professional. And the new TV is great.

Unhelpful and not timely service. No enforcement, review of evidence, or mediation occurs. I had to constantly follow up and the process lingered for around a year. The customer service was terrible and those handling the case would often change without notice or follow up/responses to outreach. Companies likely rely off Google reviews etc. and aren’t incentivized to care about this process. This company has an A+ review but Google reviews would tell you otherwise. Disappointing and not protecting consumers.

All we get for leads are scams. You take our money & offer a way for consumers to find our business, yet you can't even filter out the trash before it comes our way. I'm so afraid to even open an email with potential leads as even the leads that seem remotely safe still have red cards. Not sure I can trust your company grading my ability to run a business when BBB clearly can't run a trustworthy organization.

If you are a consumer, I urge you to NEVER trust or rely on BBB accreditation. In my opinion, its absolutely meaningless. I believe this org cares more about collecting dues from members than protecting the public. I was burned by an A+ BBB business, whose owner has had a long history of fraud, with deceptive and patently false information directly on his BBB page.

I trust BBB with my life at this point. They never fail to deliver ! I have used their services more than four times in the span of three years. One of them involved overseas communication ( I was outside of Canada, the firm I complained was in Canada). I could not believe how fast and effective they have resolved my problem. All the rest of my complaints were while I was in Canada. They are efficient, they are trustworthy, they are timely. And most importantly the companies and / or individuals take immediate actions to fulfill your requests once BBB contacts them. In these times of COVID19 I had several shipments which were delayed /deferred /not shipped. Not a single complaint was resolved when I first attempted to contact the online stores directly. All of them got immediate attention and resolved with the best outcome for me when I contacted BBB. I genuinely am very happy such firm exists.

Google "20/20 Better Business Bureau Investigation"

I have gone through the formal complaint process through the BBB regarding an Accredited business that performed landscaping on my property. This landscaping company did a very poor job to say the least. After several attempts to rectify the situation with the company I filed a complaint with the BBB. This was in October 2015. The resolution was reached and agreed for a $2700.00 refund. This was never obtained. After many emails to the BBB it was agreed to reopen the case in the spring of 2016. The business then offered an insulting $500.00 refund, in May 2016, instead of the $2700.00 and clearly stated in the complaint they wanted me to go to court for the remaining amount. I reluctantly agreed. I waited patiently for nearly two months for the promised refund as agreed. I asked for an update from the BBB and they said they are not in a position to pursue the matter any further and closed my case as "Unresolved". I asked the BBB to post the complaint details in its entirety on their website. The BBB has refused. This business has failed to honour the BBB complaint process twice and they have an A- rating.

Other non- accredited businesses I have made complaints about in the past, where the business has been non-responsive have gotten an F rating. In this particular case my initial resolution when ignored for six months, then the case was re-opened only to be ignored a second time again. Still has an A- rating. How valuable is this BBB profile/rating to a prospective client when it doesn't publish the truth. Sure, hold the A- rating but at least publish the complaint details so everyone can know what they did in my particular case.

This should have at least gone to arbitration through the BBB, however as you will see with the other Google reviews, BBB protects their businesses that pay, or have paid, their "SHAKEDOWN MONEY"

I have on other occasions received some satisfactory resolution through the BBB with NON-accredited businesses. However every single complaint I have made through the BBB with accredited businesses have always gone in favour of the business. This is the second time I have made a complaint and the business ceases their accreditation through the complaint process. In 6 months to a year the business will be accredited again an all previous complaints erased from their BBB profile.

My advice is to not deal with any BBB accredited business. You'll likely not receive any satisfaction if you end up going through the complaint process.
