I took my computerized embroidery machine here to be fixed, and they replaced a simple mechanical part after a few months of waiting on the part, which is fine and out of their control. When I arrived home, there was an additional sensor problem, which wasn't there before and I had to spend a day to fix on my own. Within minutes of use using the new part they had installed - the part broke again. I called them to see what they could do and they did nothing and eventually charged me to look at it a second time, and to replace the part again. And I am sitting here laughing with frustration, because within minutes of use the second replacement part just broke again, and my machine is jammed. They are nice enough folks, but I think I could have not wasted my time and $400 on repair, labour and parts for literally nothing.

I have been having my machines serviced by Bridgewater Sewing Center for over 20 years. Excellent service, very knowledgeable and helpful. Neal even helped me repair my industrial machine over the phone when I had a piece of needle jammed in the bobbin, explaining how to take it apart and fix it. Thank you!

I bought a BridgeSew brand sewing machine, the more deluxe model with thread cutter and built in programmable functions. The cost 2400.00.

There were problems with the machine , the needles snapped ( Schmetz brand) very frequently because the needle would fall out of it's slot with the screw tightened securely. The foot would fall out of it's slot too, with the screw still firmly in place.

The machine had to be returned. We had a four hour drive one way to the shop to return. Policy of the store was another machine had to be purchased. I then went with a Juki DU1181 N , I was charged an additional 1300.00 for this machine. This is currently offered on Amazon.ca for 1550.00.

I bought my Singer sewing machine in 1978. I can't do without it and Bridgewater Sewing Centre has kept my wonderful old machine running beautifully. I am very grateful to have a lovely machine that was built in the day when we could fix things, not dispose of them when they run into trouble. When it does have trouble, I am so pleased to know the folks at Bridgewater Sewing Centre will repair it so I can keep sewing!
With my most sincere thanks for being there when I need them. They are THE BEST!

Nice guy, but dishonest and lazy. If you're buying something online from him don't expect to receive it in a timely fashion. I bought some small parts and he waited almost two weeks to put it in the mail, and kept refusing to give me a tracking number. And it's not like I was harrassing the guy, I emailed him twice in two weeks to see if I could get some tracking info. I emailed him a few days after sending payment to confirm he received my money and to ask about a tracking number; he said he'd pop it in the mail later that day. Ok, no problem.

A week later, when I still hadn't received the items or any tracking info, I emailed him again and asked for tracking. This time he said he "didn't make it to the post office until friday" (four days after he said he'd mail it), and once again ignored my request for a tracking number. Ok.. no problem, I guess... I'd also like to point out that these were polite requests, at no point did I complain about how long it was taking.

When I finally recieved the package I ran the tracking number to discover that the second time I emailed him he STILL hadn't mailed it! So he lied TWICE about mailing it. At any time he could've just been honest with me and said he forgot. It happens, we're all human. But instead he lied to me and ignored my requests for tracking info (obviously because there was none lmao). I probably wouldn't even be that bummed about it if he hadn't charged me 20 bucks to ship a small envelope weighing less than 150 grams. Next time I'll just buy parts on eBay lol.
