We've been using CampBrain since 2021, and it has been working fantastic for us since then. Before switching to CampBrain, we had been using the same custom-made system since the 1990s. We considered the following camp management softwares before switching: CampBrain, CampMinder, CircuiTree, CampWise, CampDoc, and CampSite. We thoroughly researched each one, and CampBrain was definitely the best option out of all of these. Four years later, we have no regrets with switching to CampBrain and still believe it to be the best camp management software on the market!

Before switching to CampBrain, we were worried that we wouldn't be able to accomplish everything with CampBrain that we could do with our custom-made system. However, we were quickly proven wrong. We have been able to do pretty much everything with CampBrain that we could do before (minus a few things, but CampBrain has added a couple of these things with software updates since 2021), and some of these things are very complex. In addition, we can do more with CampBrain than we could ever do before with our custom-made system.

The best thing about CampBrain is the support; for all our years using it, the support has continued to be excellent the entire time. We always get helpful, friendly answers to our questions, and we always get new reports and changes to reports done quickly. We really appreciate that CampBrain maintains fully human support, and they have indicated that they have no plans to change this.

I HIGHLY recommend CampBrain if you are looking for an excellent and robust camp management software which is continually being improved, and a fantastic, dedicated, and friendly team of people behind it. Switching to using it was one of the best decisions we've ever made!

This system is a joke. If I was this bad at my job, I would be fired.

Let’s start with Toronto Zoo camp registration. Issues from the first SECOND of attempting to register our daughter for camp. Endless error messages and infinite “loading” of various forms and pages. Lose all of the weeks we had in our cart because of these issues.

After experiencing some serious PTSD from that experience, here we go again to try to find another camp so we can, you know, continue to be employed this summer and find childcare for our children. Today, another summer camp provider made the unfortunate decision to use CampBrain. Yet again we log in, and the error messages start almost immediately. Perhaps my favourite was when all forms were completed, but it was telling me the forms were not completed. Lovely. Here we are, yet again, losing out on spots in camp that we needed because this software/system cannot do the very basic thing it is supposed to do.

If you run a camp, please, I beg you, do not use CampBrain. If you already do, find another provider because your parents find another camp.

I don't claim to know anything about Campbrian but my experience booking Camp at Toronto Zoo was so bad that I have to say - the software is not capable of taking care of any booking system with decent traffic. Unless you are looking at a very small traffic please donot waste your resource or money to procure this software and cause disappointment. Forget about camping experience next time, before entering the booking process, I am going to ask if they are using CampBrian and not book at all. 3 hours wasted , money lost and have to wait for 30 days for a refund. They don't even know to reverse a pending transaction to reduce the issues for customers. Not to forget the disappointment for Kids.

As I wait for my camp's application site to proceed to the next stage (the infinite processing loop is really a nice touch), I reflect on how traffic management shut down even the registration of new users, let alone actually choosing camp options, and how it took over an hour of refreshing the page (as instructed, as I don't have anything else to do today it seems) just to be able to register. Once registered, it's currently taking another two hours of infinite processing (I'm still watching it as I write this, and aging quickly) to get to the 3rd stage (of 6!). Meanwhile, programs are getting fully booked, other parents are getting through, and I'm sitting here wondering whether my 3 Gbps internet connection speed is fast enough to get through this application. Honestly, I can think of many improvements to this process, and I'm definitely not a software developer. Something reeks of inefficiency here.

We love using CampBrain! It has made camp registration so much easier for our families and admin team. They are very helpful and always are there if I have a question. I appreciate all of the how to videos and constant communication when there are updates. I know CampBrain has saved us TONS of time and it is worth every penny.

We LOVE everything about CampBrain! The software has helped us improve all of our systems when it comes to running our camp programs - from attendance to online registration to communicating with our families to billing/running payments (the list goes on and on).
Not only is the software fantastic, the customer service is unbelievable! I am able to call CampBrain with any type of question (sometimes with questions that are super simple). Every CB employee who answers the phone is so helpful, explains things so clearly and is great at making sure they have answered all of my questions.
