I dropped off my laptop to be fixed and what was assumed to potentially be the problem wasn’t the problem. I was called and told that the charging port that they ordered came in, but the person on the phone said I didn’t pay for the port although I did (if you’re paying in cash, ask for a receipt because they don’t put it in the system). I was called and told that it wasn’t actually a charging port issue and that I need to take it to Apple because Century Computer can’t fix it. I went to pickup my laptop and pay the labour fees but when I got there I was given a higher price than I was initially quoted, which I then had to bring up that they were trying to overcharge me.

So i decided to take my macbook to a registered Apple affiliate then the person at that store told me that whoever tried to fix my laptop did a terrible job because as they were switching out my port they didn’t place any of the parts back in correctly so everything was done wrong. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but it was not even the attempt to overcharge that’s the issue, it’s the lack of care when providing a service especially when the laptop basically cost almost $2,000.

My external hard drive suddenly died after many years of use and travel which will happen. Century computer folks very quickly were able recover the my files and transfer them on to a new SSD external portable drive. Efficient and professional service that I would highly recommend!

I've never bought a computer that came in a bag before?
Yep, these are refirbished machines and it's great to see that there wasn't a bunch of packaging. But seriously guys?
Also, maybe a little more enthusiasm and interest from the sales rep may not have been to much to ask for?
Regardless, the unit I bought was as advertised, works great.

Had a driver issue on my laptop and they were able to take it in and fix it within hours of me calling. Swift, friendly and they cleaned my screen at no extra charge.

I had a great experience with Evan. My PC was not booting up correctly and after his diagnosis he determined it was 80% a motherboard issue and he recommeded I replace it, and the PC worked well after the replacement.
