What a great little cozy place off Main Street. I was a little hesitant going in as I heard live music, which I wasn't in the mood for after just getting off work and wanted a quiet meal but was somehow drawn in. The service was fast and the Waitress was more than helpful with menu options. I had 2 appetizers and the pho. Glad I did because all three were great. The band was actually quite good and entertaining enough to get half the crowd dancing.

This is hands down one of the best fried chicken restaurant I've ever been to in Alberta. The ambiance was great. Also, they have a huge sauce selection for the chicken to choose from, and they never skimp on the sauce! Highly recommended!

One of our favourite places in Rocky! Delicious food and there's definitely something for everyone, even if you have dietary restrictions. Super fun atmosphere and excellent staff! We go regularly and love it every time.

We read a google review on this place, and we just had to try it on our way through Rocky Mountain House on Family Day.
Our waitress Bryanna was just the BEST! I felt an instant kinship with her, and she definitely added to our experience at the restaurant.
My friend and I shared the basket of chicken thighs, and boy-oh-boy, they were good! They were smoking hot, juicy, and very crispy/crunchy on the outside. They are made of boneless thigh meat, and that alone shot them up next level!
You can buy them sauced or not, and we elected to try the flight of four dipping sauces for ten bucks. We tried honey mustard, sweet thai chili, yum yum, and their peanut butter dips. All were fantastic. The yum yum has heat to it - enough to make it interesting, but not so much that you break into a sweat or can't taste the rest of your meal.
The breading on the chicken was perfect, and it sits back and lets the sauce you choose be center stage - it is all about texture and crispyness, and not about competing for flavor.
The coffee was actually really good - it was flavorful and better than any restaurant coffee that I've had in a long time

Newly opened, Chi'Mac has a great atmosphere. A nice place to come for a relaxing bite to eat or just for drinks with friends. The chicken is fantastic and the rest of the menu is great. A good selection of craft beers on tap, including Rival Trade, the local brewery, with a greater selection to come. Take out options are also available - great idea on those days that you don't want to cook. We've visited twice already and will be back many more times.

Worth the drive from Edmonton. We ordered the Buncha and Chi Mac Ssam: nothing but flavour. Surprising the Buncha was a refreshing Asian dish that was filling but doesn't leave you bloated. Wonderful experience
