Oooooph staff was not very with it, place reeked to the point of gagging. I understand it’s a non profit but geez don’t volunteer there if you don’t want

I adopted a 2 month old kitten from here named Arthur couldn’t be more happier. He is the most precious kitten ever he loves his cuddles, probably the most loving cat I’ve ever met. The people were all so nice, and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I've never adopted an animal before, but they were excellent to deal with! The process was simple, the staff were kind, and thorough in explaining anything currently affecting the animal and any other relevant information. Would recommend!

Busy place, lots of cats that you can view as you come in. A few dogs - can be seen only by apt after you have applied to adopt. Messy ramp outside covered in dog poop!

Very caring group of people who are passionate about what they do. I have adopted 3 cats through Colchester SPCA and I'm an avid foster for them too. I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt, foster or volunteer.

Disappointed in the experience I have had. Trying to get a dog that is being left out all the time the care it deserves, but the SPCA did not stop the dog from being left out, even in extreme weather. Later on I made a Barking complaint about the same dog to the SPCA, the necessary actions required to stop the problem were not taken at the time either. Neither the dog's welfare or the neighborhood's right to peace and quiet seemed to matter.

Amendment:have changed this to a 3 star review because a new case handler is doing a good job
