I bought a house recently from a seller using Tyler as their agent. As a first time home buyer who spent their entire 20s grinding to get their down payment, Tyler and the seller made what should have been a very happy, fulfilling experience an absolute nightmare. Tyler was incredibly rude and unprofessional in his conduct with our real estate agent while the seller was being entirely unreasonable the entire process. We initially agreed to 1 less visit to the house due to a family member being physically disabled (who we then saw running with the dog when we got to the house on our first visit, and carrying rather heavy items out of the house on closing day) and stated that we would do 2 visits on the condition that we would have our final visit the day of closing. This was discussed with Tyler through our real estate agent multiple times during the process. Our first visit, the seller was staying in the home and stated she would be working in her office- Tyler never informed us of this and I think it’s safe to say we all know that is not traditionally how the house visits work. The seller chose the closing date (we waited quite a while to get the house and we were trying to be accommodating). Despite giving 72 hours notice (when our agreement only required 24 hours) the seller outright refused our final visit and would not accept any of our available times as we work 12 hour shifts and she would not allow any of our options. On the day of sale, she closed the sale with lawyers at 2:15- we then get to the house to find she hasn’t even gotten half of the furniture into the moving truck and has no regard for respect, convention, or responsibility. Our lawyer was appalled and said he had never seen anything like this. The entire time, Tyler was rude to our real estate agent and made false claims that no one has ever asked for a walk through on a closing date and it’s unreasonable- a simple Google search will tell you that the final walk through is not only common, but highly encouraged on closing day- let alone our agent’s 30+ years in the industry. I would never recommend using this company, as the entire experience was tainted by Tyler and his lack of professional conduct and regard for any common courtesy. The seller may have been an issue, but all our contact came from Tyler and I pray no one ever has to experience the stress we had to go through as a young couple just trying to get what we were rightfully owed.
