If I could give them 10 stars I would. I am a very young individual and struggle with anxiety, I was really scared to come in especially doing this process on my own, Krzys and Rick treated me like one of their own and reassured me every step of the way. They were able to recover my data even within their busy schedule, they got both of my phones recovered within a week. They were both genuine and kind people who you can trust. I highly recommend them if you need help with forensic or recovering data!

Full marks for the team at Data Rescue Labs! I had an older model external drive that had failed, and I was deeply concerned that I had lost the data forever. My initial contact was reassuring, and once I took the device in, they were able to restore the data fully and quickly. Epic recovery! My wife's iPhone6 got too full and kept spitting out warning message back in late 2019. Of course we ignored the messages, then one day she woke up and the phone was toast. We sent it in to a local (Southern California) recovery shop who gave it a try, but he said the technology needed to recover didn't exist yet. We waited 5 years and called him back, he told me the same thing. Then I found Krzys on Reddit! He was HIGHLY reviewed, and for good reason. It was an absolute monster of a job, Krzys kept hitting roadblocks (battery inoperable, phone kept restarting, we forgot the passcode, etc), but he pushed through, and kept in touch with me at every step. About 3 months after I initially sent in the phone, I got an email saying my wife's data was ready to recover. I was shocked, as was my wife. She was brought to tears. We had irreplacable family photos and videos we assumed were gone forever, which Krzys gave us back. It was the best gift I could ever give to my wife. Thanks Krzys!

They tried their best at recovering my data from my old laptop and they were very good and nice. It's too bad that os thing happened that made the rest of the data recovery difficult to recover. Hopefully, I can find some way to recover the important files I'm missing on it and my new laptop somehow with a recovery program. So the files that were completely damaged couldn't be recovered somehow? Did the os thing had anything to do with that? Or a failed factory reset on it had anything to do with it? Could fixing the file system on my old laptop help the recovery of those damaged files make it easier to recover? Same with my new laptop as well, even though it's a ssd drive?

Krys was absolutely amazing. He saved 2000+ images from a 12 year+ old file that was on the brink of failure.

About a month ago my iPhone went into a boot loop out of the blue. Stupid me, I had not backed up my phone for the last 5 years or so (murphy’s law). At first glance I didn’t think much of it and thought I would be able to fix it easily by finding solutions online. I tried googling to find different solutions to fix the problem for a couple of days but I couldn't find any solution that worked. Frustrated, I took my phone to Apple support and they said that they cannot really do anything about it. They suggested I can try to update the software but there is no guarantee and there is a high probability I will lose all my data (that I was not willing to happen).

Long story short, I showed my phone to a few repair shops but no help. I then started looking at Data recovery companies because I really wanted my data back. For the next couple of days I researched a few data recovery companies and found one. I left my phone with them but they were as useless as a door knob that does nothing. They kept my phone for like 3 weeks but no solution. While my phone stayed with them I kept researching other data recovery companies. Phoned many many and almost everyone was saying that there is no chance I get my data back. That’s how I came across Data Rescue Labs. When I called them, I remember the first sound bite appeared confident that can be backed by competence and trust. But I was still not 100% sure (I guess because of the so many discouraging responses I got from other repair/data recovery companies).

I continued my search about Data Rescue Labs, and the more I learned about them (mainly on Reddit and youtube) the more I gained confidence. I then went ahead picked up my phone from the other data recovery company and went straight to Data Rescue labs. The best part was that here I could talk to the person who actually does the work, Krzys the magician himself was there with his colleague). After explaining my situation, he said to leave my phone with them and they will let me know by Friday, which was in 2 days.

I called them at 3pm on Friday and I was told Krzys has left for the day but he was working on my phone. I really wanted to hear something (hopefully positive) before the weekend but well I had to wait. Lo and behold, the next day, on a Saturday (which is a non-working day for them) I receive a text message from Krzys saying that he got to know I called on Friday after he left the lab. And he then gave me an update/news that I thought I may never hear. He said he was successful in turning my phone back on (which almost every other company, including Apple, said is mission impossible), but he needs some more work to do as the phone is not stable yet and he will continue work on it Monday. I could not believe my eyes when I saw that message from him. Absolutely ecstatic that my phone is back on with all my data intact. We continue texting for like 30 minute back and forth. Now that is the level of communication and customer support you get from a 5* service provider. Absolutely amazing service!

Long story short, on Monday afternoon he contacted me again on further updates as well as ask me to get 2TB iCloud storage so he can back up data in cloud. I tried to subscribe using my MAcbook but was struggling, even Apple support couldn’t help after on the call with them for like 2 hours. I asked Krzys if he can try to subscribe for 2TB on my phone and again out of magic he was able to do it there and asked me to hang up with Apple support as we are good (I spent like 2 hours with Apple support to subscribe to iCloud 2TB and no success). Again, amazing customer service. He genuinely cared and want to help.

He then said I can come in next day to pick up my phone. So I went there the next day and couldn’t believe my eyes seeing my phone turned on with all my data intact.

If I could give them 10 stars out of 5 I would give in a heart beat.

One of my hard drives was no longer being recognized by my computer so I spent a few days trying to see if I could get it to work again. After a few days of trying without any luck I looked online to see where I could bring my hard drive to have my data recovered.

I initially didn't go with Data Rescue Labs but reconsidered. The other data recovery lab told me that when I drop off my hard drive they would take 24-48 hours to do an initial assessment. This wasn't the case with Data Rescue Labs. Within less than 5 minutes after heading in and giving my troubled drive plus one of my spare drives for them to recover the data onto, they said that my bad drive had bad sectors on it and they pretty much started the work right away.

I was given a quote and the estimated times of a few days to possibly a few weeks which I didn't mind. I took their business cards and left. Several days later they called and left me a text message saying that my data had been recovered. I was honestly expecting to wait a lot longer than I did. I dropped off my hard drive on the Friday before Thanksgiving weekend and got the call/message on Tuesday morning of the next week.

When I got home and plugged in my spare drive, all the data that was recovered from my bad drive was there. I am overall extremely happy with their service and their quick turn around time (though this might not be the case for everyone). I would highly recommend their service for data recovery and I would certainly head back in the future if I need their services again.
