I would give negative stars if I could. We lost internet on a Thursday because our receiver died, were told DCS Tech were coming to tend to it on Monday. After they no-showed, they called in the evening and said we were scheduled for Wednesday. Whatever, I thought, maybe it was a scheduling mistake. Then Wednesday rolls around, the techs do show up...but they didn't even TRY to go up the tower before deciding they didn't have time to deal with the sparse, brittle ivy on it. They left, telling us they'd have someone call to reschedule and provide a price quote to remove the ivy.

Got the call later and suddenly we were being asked to pay $450—$100 alone to remove the ivy (which, again, is fairly sparse and brittle because it's the middle of the winter and it's dead), and $350 to replace the pole at the top of the tower that's allegedly bent (which they did not mention while they were here). This job was also apparently going to take three hours. We ended up cancelling because we couldn't afford it unless we had no other option and wanted to see what alternatives we could come up with.

After eight days without internet, we finally got it restored by Canada Connex. Admittedly, they couldn't go all the way up the tower due to the ivy, but they were able to position a receiver close to the top so that we could at least have the internet back, which DCS Tech didn't even attempt.

Xplornet subcontracted this company to do a modem replacement for me. they called and wanted to schedule a time during my working hours, so i told them i would have to call them back after i spoke to my employer. i spoke to the technician directly, and she said "sure just call or text when i have an answer". its been 6 days, and after placing several calls, texts, and voicemails to both the technician and the company "DCStech" i have received nothing. i have no idea how they run a business without picking up the phone. its a shame the lowest rating i can give them is 1 star, because they would get a zero. if this is how they treat potential customers, i could only imagine how many ways they would try to screw you after taking possession of something you own.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Xplornet contracts with this company to do some of its tech work in my area (Perth, Ontario). After Xplornet prepares the work order DCS tech is supposed to call me within 2 days to book appointment. I didn't hear from them, so I called them to book appointment. No one answered the phone. I left a message. Note that I may have called them on the second day. Someone did call me back the day later and an appointment was booked for Sept 9, 2021, with no time given...just have to wait all day for them. I left a message on their voice mail early in the morning on Sept 9th to find out what time they would show up. I did not receive a call back. I waited all day, and no one showed up. I called Xplornet Sept 10th to advise of the "No Show" and they said that according to their notes DCS tech rescheduled on Sept 8, from Sept 9 to Sept 13. DCS tech never called to let me know or even checked to see if I was available on the 13th. They could have at least returned my call on Sept 9th to let me know they did not intend on showing up. I have advised Xplornet that I do not want his company because they don't show up, don't answer the phone and they don't even have the common courtesy to let me know they changed the appointment - or even ask if I was available on that day. I would never use this company. I have advised Xplornet that they should be more careful who they hire to do their work as it also affects their reputation.

They are supposed to have a two business day SLA with Xplornet. The two days have come and gone and nothing. Calls are not answered, messages are not returned and now the voice mailbox if full.

Illegal set up of my tower do not have them set up ur equipment if already had work done by them have someone else take a quick look at your tower it's free
