Security guard there is very rude and not helpful, he will belittle you and treat you like you’re beneath him. So be very wary and expect to be treated poorly. Otherwise smooth experience, everything is laid out, instructions and procedures are straight forward. and as long as you follow the signs posted around the yard you shouldn’t have a problem.

Okay lets start at the beginning. I arrived at the plant. I puled up to security. A guard came out and told me that I had to go to the waiting area and observe the traffic lights. It would be nice if they had a sign or you were told this by the agent before arrival. Once you are allowed to proceed to the security office you are given a list of rules that must be adhered to. The list has a points system and if you exceed the allotted points you will be banned from the site. This is no big problem as most of it is common sense. The one caveat is back talking to the security staff! My only concern with this is the staff were a little stiff and talk down to you. This could cause someone with a hotter head to react to them. Apart from this they were professional and advised me of the trailer drop procedure.

The drop yard is not that big and all the spots were taken, I walked back to security and they advised me to just drop the trailer in front of the dropped trailers and the shunt driver would take it away to the loading dock.. I must have arrive during a break as it took them almost 3/4 of an hour to pick up my trailer. I waited for a total of 3 hours to have my trailer returned. Once you have hooked up to to it you have to wait on the traffic lights to go green before you can approach security again to get your paperwork.

WARNING. If you are crossing the border with a load make sure you have all the proper paperwork as the load I am on is going to be returned as the receiver will not allow you to enter there facility without the customs waiver. The staff at Diageo were super nice when I called but were unable to help me.

In conclusion. Follow the rules, ignore security if they are giving you a hard time and check and then recheck your paperwork

Be sure to drive by the warehouse and then you will see the "Marshalling" area too you left. 2nd entrance and stay to the right of the fence line around the bend, pull up to the green/red light. You can slide your tandems here if you have the time, then leave when the light is green. 1 at a time through the gate in or out. The guards are super nice guys and will need your "105" number and drivers license. They will give you your BOLs and the schpeel on where to drop and hook. If you could slide at the Marshall area do so BEFORE you enter the yard, even if they open the gate. Same when you exit, don't slide where you hook your trailer on the way out, ONLY slide once you come back through the gate and stop to see the guard. The yard is 1 way and obeh the pedestrian stop signs, stop even if no one is at the walk ways. Before you exit you will see the green/ red lights...when it's green you may exit, stop, see the garden, slide tandems and leave. Expect to be an hour or two...that's normal depending how many trucks are waiting in the Marshalling area.

Was a ride along for an LTL trip, but my experience is this: This place is very thorough, professional, and respectable. The security staff are great and knowledgeable. Limited but great experience nonetheless.

I made a left turn, which was my genuine mistake and which I apologized for, and had to deal with the most rudest security employee thinking he was the OPP or police force. With the use of censored language, he showed no respect or remorse. Inhumane and disrespectful. I recommend to every trucking company to never make any deal with this company because it's the drivers who have to put up with this nonsense. Save your time, there are far better companies than ones with people who can't respect others.

Usually quick to check in if there are no trucks at Marshalling station. One of the Security guards is a sc*mbag and has racist attitude. He needs to be fired asap

If you are soft-hearted person then never come around this place. The security gard will ruin your emotional state of mind for next 14 days. There are alot of rules to follow, If your IQ level is not same as Einstein , then u have to face big troubles. GOOD LUCK
