Called the good doctor and he was able to help out.
I needed a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk reprogrammed with drivers from the internet for a piece of musical equipment. I thought I was in a very compromised position until Jim came to the rescue and helped me out. This guy is amazing.

I cannot reccommend Dr. Jim enough. If you have something wrong with your computer, he is your guy. He's a local small business owner who truly knows his stuff, his customer service goes above and beyond. He is quick, knowledgable, and considerate.

I work in bookkeeping and cannot function at work without my laptop. I took my computer into him for some TLC ( power cord acting up, battery nearly toast) at the end of a business day on a Wednesday. He called me within the hour of my dropping it off, he had assessed what was wrong and provided me with a brand-specific replacement power cord, cleaned out the fan, and told me I could take my computer home right away so I could keep working, he'd call as soon as a replacement battery was available. Less than 24 hours later, he called saying the battery was ready to swap out. I dropped my computer off again and he had it all switched over and ready for pick up within half an hour. It's Friday morning, and I'm happily back to work! Thank you, Dr. Jim!

I knew when I took my PC to Jim that it wouldn't be a quick fix as I had suspected we had some hardware issue. Although inevitably unable to resolve the issue, through solid communication and elimination it was determined my mobo will likely be faulty . I'm awaiting on a new Mobo to arrive and I'll cross my fingers when I transplant her. Taking Jims advice on brand this time as well. Do not hesitate to challenge Jim. He went the extra mile to diagnose this machine. And the price? Won't beat it anywhere else.

Dropped my computer off to get the Ram and Graphics card upgraded and to see if Jim could get my windows 11 update 23H2 issue resolved.
The upgrade went well and cost was great.
Still had the windows update issue, once I got it home, I reloaded windows but the issue persisted, ended up using the diagnostic tool on my computer to fix the issue and after rebooting the computer, I was able to load the repaired version of windows 11 23H2 update, all is good again.

10/10 needed a cleanup of my pc, thermal paste change, and updating drivers. I don’t trust myself to not damage something so I decided to take it to Dr. Jim. Boy oh boy was I glad I did.

It looks as clean as the day I bought it. He showed me photos from of the pc during his work so I was aware and educated. The pc runs MUCH better since and the price was very fair for the work.

Will be going back for all my computer needs in the future

I loaded the pictures from a trip I had just taken onto my laptop and then it died. I brought it into Jim's computer repair and he was amazing. He offered me a great price to clean it up and reload it. When something glitched he told me to bring it in right away and he would fix it. He even offered to look at my three elderly laptops that have been stored to see if they might still be reusable. Jim is a great guy, very personable. I hope I never have to see him again for work but if I do I will definitely bring it back to this business.
