Edit: Changed from five stars to 1 (and would give less, if it was possible). I bought two terminals, recommended it to all my friends, and then, out of the blue, Dream Payments went away. My terminals are now junk. Stinks.

I've been using the terminal for several months, and I like it so much I just ordered a second unit. Easy set up, and such a nice terminal! We just had out annual art crawl weekend here on the Sunshine Coast, BC, and putting through payments was never so easy and fast. So many people commented on the terminal-- they really enjoyed tap-n-pay, and they really, really liked being able to use debit. I have phoned the company several times, and customer service has been 5 star, too. Excellent!

Have been using Dream Payments for 6 months now. Service is excellent and so is the Customer Service. Have never had a problem with processing payments and deposits have always been in our account next business day. Experienced 2 issues, first was due to a non responsive card reader, which was quickly corrected over the phone with a CSR. Second was a dead card reader, and they sent a replacement that I received the next day.

I use the Dream Payment a lot and have no issues, my customers love the handheld device and ask where they can purchase it, I'm like a sales person selling the card reader 😉 battery life is EXCELLENT on the unit and payment into my account has been fast and no issues. I Highly recommend the Dream payment System when accepting chip or tap payments, hopefully one day they will allow manual keyed in or swipe
Thanks Again

My company used DP for a little over a year. We had several glitches during most of that period with trouble connecting terminals to our iOS devices, accepting payments and so on.

Every customer service representative I spoke to during that period seemed to discover their own products while I was discussing our problems. They seemed poorly trained and were not helpful in most cases.

However we kept using their services despite bad experiences accumulating (mainly because of inertia) until a few weeks ago when I noticed that a significant portion of transactions we processed with clients were declined after the events we were selling at. At the time of the transaction, the transaction was showed as approved on both the iOS device and the terminal so we completed the transaction and handled products to clients.

We lost close to $1000 in revenues for transactions that were approved, and the supervisors at DP declined to take any responsibility or offer any form of compensation.

With the accumulation of bad experiences and this recent loss in revenues, we decided to switch to Square, which works perfectly so far.

Great little reader! Recommended it to all the vendors at our Annual Christmas Market. We now use it for our Club for ticket sales. Nice to finally have a reasonably priced way of collecting debits especially when you are a non-profit or do not run a full time business. Easy set-up. Works well with Samsung Galaxy.

The Dream payments app and card reader are great! Very easy to setup and use. In under an hour I was up and running. It is even integrated with my quickbooks account! I recommend this system to anyone looking for a credit or debit processing system.

Product is good if you want something VERY simple. System works but is very BASIC which can be cause for frustration. Payment deposits are timely which is great. They need to allow for a couple of things 1) Apply discount at check out on catalog items 2) Allow for you to customize receipt to specify return policy! 3) Allow for mass upload of product via excel (or some other medium) 4) Have a customer service phone line that actually works - am always disconnected and/or cannot hear representative . Am currently unsure if we will continue with this system.

I don't recommend dream what so ever. Only got it to be able to accept debit but when it does actually work it takes FOREVER to load... 6/10 times it just doesn't work period. Their customer service reps are nice enough but there seems to be two departments that don't work together and everything seems so disjointed. I reported having issues with my reader and they decided to send me a new charger to test that out first when clearly it was not a charger issue. They have YET to send me a new device.

So thankful square is accepting debit tap now. I wish I could support this Toronto startup as I own a business where we support local toronto artists and it would come full circle.

STAY AWAY FROM DREAM!
