Still not getting upload and download speeds I'm paying for. It was "fixed " the first 2 times only to reoccur a few weeks later.
The last time I contacted them, they blamed it on my router that I purchased because their wifi would reach the end of my house. However I was not using the network from that router . I was standing 2 feet from the equipment they installed (which I'm also paying a monthly fee for).
I suspect they throttle speeds intentionally thinking people won't notice.
I still have no resolution and I have given up.
If I had another option, I would take it in a heartbeat.

We had a cable get broken from a plow this week and Matt and Kevin from tech out did themselves with assistance. They sent someone to diagnose the issue to which they found that there was an exterior cable issue. Then they dispatched a splitter crew the following day to see if it could be fixed that way but we needed a digging crew to just access to enough cable to split the cable and restore service. This was done today! So within 3 days they were able to diagnose the issue and have it fixed. Amazing considering the weather and circumstances. Thanks to all the crews and Matt and Kevin for everything. You all rocked!

Suppose to get internet install today at 12pm.
I have 2 numbers on file, they only called one, land line. Took half day off, waited , called ehtel 2 times. Waited for supervisor to contact me. Got him on 3rd call. He tried to argue the point of calling the one number on my file and number I called from. When previous csr checked and saw there was 2 numbers and an email. When I asked csr why no one called my cell, he said he did not know and would try and find out, that I should talk to supervisor. No one contacted me.
Neighbor told me ehtel was in my driveway at 10am? When appointment was for 12 to 4 pm. No communication.
Truth is since the fibre optic cable was put in about 3 plus years back, I had an install set. The tech did my neighbors place and took off. No hi or bye. I contacted office, complained, they
re scheduled , no one showed no one called or communicated. Got fed up, some time passed , I called, about a year ago or more. Set another install. No one showed, no one called. I called complained, they claimed there was no install scheduled. I never called back till this past Monday. Supervisor on the phone to busy talking about events of the day through his opinion which did not line up with the facts, Instead of correcting the issue and trying to make good. Had to point that out to him. They chose to only call my landmine instead of my cell. Resulting in no contact and my half day taken off lost.
I quickly scheduled an appt with a rural provider which listened to my needs, timeline, concerns and experience. I am actually spending a little more, to get the customer service, reliability and support I see is needed.
I do not recommend using ehtel. Years of disappointment trying to move on from the fibre optic cable install . After it was done that's where ehtel stopped. I stated to the csr that ehtel had way too many bad reviews, it was a concern for me. She replied there was a changeover and more new employees. All these years trying to get internet and things have not changed.
Thanks for inconveniencing my day eh-tel. And still no internet. A loss of a day.
There are other providers with proficient processes.

Continuous issues with the network going down constantly and then it seems okay for a bit before the problems start again. They were supposed to replace hardware back in July and again last week, but nothing has happened. They have the worst customer service. Their voicemail says you'll get a call back the next business day, but that's a joke, because I have yet to get a call back from them in over a year.

Guess I have to start looking for a new internet provider 5 times in five weeks it goes down. They say it is a 3rd party thing with rogers,but when do you start looking for a new thrid party provider when it is effecting your customers this much. Where is your customer service Ehtel

4th or 5th downtime of greater then 1h in 3 months. All the times it has been their upstream provider, during the day, at night, weekend, just randomly. It started out great, and in the last year changed. I wonder if they got cheaper upstream provider but they are now the worst ISP in terms of reliability in my life. Please cancel the contract and get a better upstream provider. Please, Please, Please, we are stuck with eachother got to make the best of it.

As a former Rogers Internet customer, Eh!tel has been a solid provider. We subscribe to their fiber optic network for internet and haven't had an outage in over a year. Customer service has been great with someone answering at the other end almost immediately. Such an improvement over the big telecom companies.
