We had stayed at the Emerald Isle Motel and Resort in the past and prior to this visit we called Richard and arranged to stay in one of his newly renovated suites which was made up from two rooms. It was clean and very comfortable with a very nice new bathroom, a small kitchenette, comfortable seats and a large LCD TV as well as free WiFi. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The windows open and let a nice breeze through at night. I'm not sure if we will be back but will definitely stay there again if we do.

This is a compact space, but our suite had a separate bedroom with a closing door, a twin pullout sofa and a compact kitchenette with a microwave and a small fridge and sink. |I found the scent of the fabric softener used to clean the blankets too strong for me, and the staff were very helpful getting me a fresh, unscented blanket, sheets and bedspread. |We were here in the dead of winter, but now that I know that this hotel is near a small lake, I would come back again and stay here in the summer. The people in Killarney are very friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The owner will move your belongings to another room completely disregarding and disrespecting your privacy and doesn’t understand why I was upset afterwords. When you check in to any hotel you expect your belongings to be where you left them. Not walk in to your room and see all your stuff missing. The owner even tried to justify his actions by saying it was his right. The rooms had dirty stained patio furniture. Overall worst hotel experience I have ever had. I never had someone completely disrespect my privacy like this horrible place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Clean and recently renovated rooms furnished with nice lawn furniture the beds were comfortable but would recommend bring your own towels soap and other basic toiletries staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located close to the lake with access to playgrounds and splash pads put put golf. prim location. Each room has a few chairs out front that makes for some prime evening outdoor sitting and relaxing. Oh bring your own coffee if that's your thing the stuff provided was basically warm colored water that barely resembles coffee both color and tast

The rooms do not have furniture, only patio furniture and the door in my room did not lock properly. They double booked my room and after I told the inn keeper to NOT move my things while I was away at work, they still proceeded to do so. Since the doors don’t lock, I walked in on a family in their room. After I went to ask the front desk about this, the older man working got very defensive and refused to understand why my privacy was violated. Very unprofessional. I understand you double booked the room, however there are multiple different ways that I can think of off the top of my head to deal with this other than entering my room without my permission and knowledge and moving my things. On top of this, the wifi is absolutely horrible, you are far better off buying extra data for your trip here.

Stayed here while on a motorcycle trip. Owner and staff were super friendly. Room was great, just what I needed, no extra frills. This place is located in a great spot, Killarney lake right next to it, Burger joint, with ice cream and mini putt across the street and real close to baseball diamonds so you can take in some great ball games. Will definitely stay here again.

Small room with two beds and small shower so not roomy but clean and close to lake and restaiurant across the street.Fairly typical motel for small town and showing some signs of aging. Owner lives on site and has been a local resident for many years so quite aware of the town and surroundings..Older but better value than the other motel at opposite end of town.

Very clean, friendly staff, accommodating ,reasonable price. We stayed in room 10, all newly renovated, plenty of room. Forgot our cord, but he had one for us. Needed some extra time in the morning, he worked with us for that too
