I work hard, doing 12 hr shifts at a couple local hospitals. I was fortunate enough to get to the store by 745pm tonight - store closes at 800pm. I had a male employee approach me, telling me they closed at 800. I said I had grabbed what I needed and just had to fill a 20L jug of water from the machine at the front of the store. I quickly put my 7 items on the belt, had my jug ready to fill, as I have numerous times before. The female perhaps head clerk, who was standing around and chatting with another 1-2 employees, doing absolutely nothing, actually said to me, as I quickly bagged and paid for my groceries, 'for fi3ture, we close at 8, do not ever come in at this time of night and expect to fill one of those jugs of water, as sometimes it takes quite a while to fill.' I said fine and I told the clerk to remove the refill from my purchase. Although tempted to put everything back, I paid for my items. The lady then said 'go ahead and fill it this time'. I declined.

In the time it took me to put my 7 items on the conveyor belt, bag it myself, pay with debit, it was 3 minutes to 8. I have filled many a 20L jugs of water and never had it take 'a long time to fill' as she had indicated. I was really upset, as I shop a lot at that location and spend a lot of my hard earned money there. Sadly, despite the push to SHOP LOCAL, I will never shop there again. She could have filled my jug for me as I was doing my groceries (i do walk with a cane), but nope. Whatever happened to customer service and treating the customers right?

This foodland grocery store has a good selection of deli meats, frozen meats, fruits, vegetables, pre made sandwiches, fruit trays, salads and sandwiches.

The price are a bit higher then the city though the parking lot is big.

It’s a standard Foodland. It is clean and well laid out but is also expensive unless items are on sale.

I would only shop there if I need one thing or it's on sale prices are outrageous you think Soby's is expensive that's where I shop Foodland is way more expensive Soby,s Foodland belong to each other .That's what Foodland does they move into small towns where there's older people that don't drive and they have to pay the price.

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how awesome your cart guy is. His happy attitude is contagious and you can tell how much he loves his job. Big shout out to him! We had a quick exchange today in the parking lot and it left an impression with me that I've been thinking about since I left.
