Called them today for a quick thermostat problem. They diagnosed me over the phone at no charge. I will use their services again for sure!!!

Called this company for a service call on my furnace. The technician falsely diagnosed my furnace as being over 21 years old when in fact it was only 9 years old and still under the extended warranty period. He red tagged the furnace with a 48 hour time period as I agreed to buy a furnace with him. When he saw that I was looking up comparable furnaces online, he started giving me attitude about it. I felt pressured to buy a furnace from him “on the spot”. I agreed to replace the furnace and paid a deposit.

That night I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. I went back and checked the furnace, and that’s when I realized the furnace was a 2015, not a 2003. Not only was this evident from confirming the serial number, there was a date tag with the installation date right there!

I was livid and so I contacted another HVAC company. They came, properly assessed the problem, and cleared the tag.

There is more I could say about the technician who came and what I considered to be unprofessional behavior. Was this incompetence or was he trying to scam me into buying a new furnace? All I know for sure is that if I hadn’t followed up on that feeling in my gut that something was wrong, I would have spent over 5000 replacing a furnace that was still well within its useful life and where a relatively simple repair solved the problem.

To this company’s credit, when the owner found out what happened he was very apologetic and gave me a full refund on the deposit without any problems. That is the only reason for a 2 star rating. However I do believe the technician who came should have his licensed suspended, as he needs a serious attitude check.

Forest HVAC provides excellent and responsive service. They installed our furnace and A/C 14 years ago. When the time eventually comes to upgrade our system I'm confident that we will work with them again.

I've had a furnace maintenance plan (with annual inspections) with Forest HVAC for over 20 years and they have always been very professional, reliable (including responding quickly) and client-oriented.

In the past year, I had to replace both my air conditioner and furnace. I didn't think twice about dealing with Forest. In both cases, they quickly provided several options in a variety of price ranges and answered all my questions to guide me in my decisions. The technicians were very professional, helpful (answering all my questions and providing guidance) and did a great job.

And it is also always a pleasure dealing with the office - you can see they care about their clients (as do the technicians). They do everything they can to ensure you have heat or coolness in your home as soon as possible (especially in those really hot or cold days). I recommend this company to everyone.

Fantastic experience with Forest HVAC. We had them install our gas lines for our pool heater and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I've been using Forest's services for over twenty years. I don't even bother shopping around because I value the service that comes with the installation (but their prices are comparable). Recently I had a new AC installed and my basement ceiling started leaking. Forest attended promptly and was able to pin point the leak to the back door, not the AC hose. This was later confirmed by my door people. They spent a lot of time on this, even after it was shown to not be their problem. I like a small family company because I feel you get more attention from them.

Very responsive to my situation when my furnace broke down. Workmen were very competent, professional and left a very clean worksite. Provided several options for consideration, reasonable prices and no surprises when finished. Very quick after installation service response when an issue surfaced that was quickly remediated.
