Nous avons fait agrandir deux fenêtres de sous-sol en plus de faire sceller des craques dans notre fondation avec Foundation Works. Nous sommes entièrement satisfaits de leur travail.
L'équipe est professionnelle et travaille de façon minutieuse. Nos travaux demandaient beaucoup d'ajustement puisque nous avons une piscine creusée près de la maison. Foundation Works a pris les précautions nécessaires pour garder notre aménagement paysager en bon état. Après leur travaux, l'équipe a bien nettoyé et s'est aussi assurée de bien compacter le sol pour éviter que nous devions faire nous même du remplissage plus tard.

We were looking for someone to do parging work at the front of our house. Patrick was very personable and knowledgeable when he first came to look at our house. Even offered to quote us on the interlock repair of our front steps as it needed to be re-leveled properly. He was the one who came to do the work with another guy, and we were quite pleased with the results. Finished the job and cleaned everything up. Amazing work. After a recent heavy rainfall, we found the carpet in our basement completely drenched. We thought we had a crack in the foundation and it was going to be an expensive repair. We contacted Foundation Works and Joel came to our house to assess the situation. Joel provided a thorough explanation of the problem and went on to describe how the original window well was poorly installed and that mud had been seeping into the well over the years causing it to not drain properly. What we thought was going to be a major repair ended up being a simple fix. We really appreciated Joel’s honesty. Joel provided us with a very detailed estimate at a very reasonable price.

Joel’s team came to fix our window well in a timely manner. The Foundation Works’ team were very professional and courteous. The quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. I returned home from work and could not even tell that anyone had been there that day - other than the fact that we have a window well that drains properly now!

I would highly recommend Foundation Works. They were very professional and took the time to explain each phase of the work that they have completed to my husband and I. Very hard working people and they would come back early evenings to check up on the work that they have done to ensure that everything was in order. They also changed my dryer vent and fixed my outdoor water pipe at no extra cost.
The work was done on time and they did a great job cleaning up. We hired them to waterproof our foundation as we were seeing a bit of water leaking seeping into our basement.
Work was done well and they also provide pictures once completed.
Family owned business and Joel (owner) or his brother Bob is always on site doing the work to ensure that things are done right.

My wife and I decided to make repairs to the foundation of our 100+ year-old home, and after doing the excavation ourselves with help from friends, it was clear that the rubble foundation was badly deteriorated and that fixing it wouldn’t be a simple job. We met with a few different contractors to collect quotes, and had a range of experiences. Some were downright rude and unpleasant, while others tried to scare us into taking on repairs (and costs) that would have been much bigger than we had anticipated. More than once, the contractor gave us a figure without really examining the structure. Joel (Foundation Works) was one of the only people to actually get into the excavated area to examine the foundation up close, and his style and attention to detail immediately inspired confidence. As someone who grew up in a small town, I appreciated Joel’s friendly attitude, and how up-front he was about everything. It seemed like he approached the project as if it were his own house.

The bid that Foundation Works offered was competitive with other offers we were considering, and included a good warranty. In fact, the only thing I was suspicious about was the fact that the company’s reviews were too overwhelmingly positive to be legit. But we decided to hire Foundation Works anyways, and any skepticism I had quickly disappeared. The team that worked on our structure (Joel, Bob and Russ) were professional and efficient, polite and respectful, and proactively consulted with me on decisions regarding the repairs. As the job progressed, it was also obvious that they took a lot of pride in the work that they were doing, and that they weren’t rushing or cutting corners to get the job done faster. Upon completion, the site was left neat and tidy (actually better than it was before they started), and friends with experience building houses and fixing foundations have since commented on the quality of the job. For others who are considering similar projects, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Foundation Works.

My wife and I would like to thank Joel and Bob from Foundation Works for the exceptional job done to repair and “upgrade” our foundation last summer. It was a great experience from start to finish. From the first phone call and the first home visit, we were convinced we had found the right company for the job. Joel explained exactly how they would go about fixing the leaks in our basement. We then discussed several other services that would benefit us, including changing our existing small basement windows for larger and more efficient egress windows.
Most all work was done by Bob, an extremely hard-working, friendly and caring individual. Bob went about our house repairs like he was working on his own home. No detail was too small, no challenge too big. In all, Bob repaired our foundation cracks, replaced & upgraded our weeping tiles and drainage, cored through our foundation to relocate the sump pump and septic tank outlets, enlarged & replaced our basement windows, built awesome custom window wells with frost protection of footings, installed a blue skin and platon membrane, installed 2” rigid insulation and raised the finished grade around the foundation, and refinished the parging.
Foundation Works left our property in superb condition. It was as if they were never there. The landscaping was returned to the exact condition they found it.
We can now relax and enjoy our bright basement, knowing that it will be warm and dry throughout the year. We have no hesitation in recommending Foundation Works to anyone concerned about their foundation and looking for a top quality crew.
