A great little town to catch your breath in while cruising the Sunshine Coast of BC. Be sure to stop into Fong's Market for provisioning. Great selection of Asian items you may not be able to find elsewhere while cruising the coastal waters. The proprietors are warm and friendly.

This well located dock, just off the waterfront attractions in Gibsons (like Smitty’s) has great staff and features like a floating garden and a fish store. The showers are the weak point: small and spartan.

This is a good marina. Best electrics I’ve come across with 15,20 and 30 amp and covered sockets in weatherproof cabinets. Unfortunately the toilet facilities let it down. 1 toilet stall (no hanger), 1 urinal and two wash basins for the whole marina and open to the puublic during the day. Don’t get caught short!
The shower is fine and has a seat out of the spray and a hanger but the coin device is outside the stall and does not allow for more than one looney (3 minutes) at a time which means just as you need to rinse off you have to go outside the stall in the nude and put another coin in.
This was my first time here and I like that it is right at the centre of things in the town and is reasonably priced compared to the opposition.

This a very nice community. The staff are 100 % there too help and welcome all that visit. Just a great place to stop by and visit. I will be back for sure. Best times to visit is Thursday to Monday. As most shops are closed mid week
