We recently used Steve Matheson for the purchase of our new home and the sale of our old one. Steve was great, taking the time to explain the process and go through all the necessary forms, and despite being busy, never made any part of the process seem rushed. He always took more than enough time to work with us at our pace. The team behind him was extremely professional, and ensured a smooth process for both transactions. He was instrumental in dealing with our purchaser's lawyer who brought up more than one unfounded (and quite frankly ridiculous) "complaints" about the property, none of which actually existed since their agent "inspected" it 8 hours prior to us cleaning it (be sure to photograph and video your sale property in detail prior to leaving your keys). In the end, Steve made a few phone calls to resolve the issue and we never had to lift a finger to deal with the fictitious 'issues' with the home. The sale went through as agreed. We worked with Steve through the recommendation of our real estate agent, and would strongly recommend him to anyone else looking for legal services.
