I come here regularly during the growing season to get seeds and garden accessories. This is a totally local business and they sell a lot of different varieties of seeds and they even sell starters at some points of the year too. The staff is so friendly, and they give great advice. I recommend shopping here over the other stores that sell gardening supplies. The only thing that is more expensive here is their garden tools.

I was in 06/16 to pick up some plants for my garden and containers. One of the staff members was very helpful and knowledgeable. The other staff were very friendly. The prices may have been a bit higher but we are in the city so it makes sense. I would say if you had a specific issue you wanted to address about your lawn or garden that this is the place to go for possible solutions.

They have a nice selection of perennial plants with a mixture of annual thrown in. Love the chalk drawings in the sidewalk and pavement. The staff was very friendly and polite. Well laid out path in outdoor garden center, avoids 2 way traffic.

Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Good selection. Prices might be a bit higher than places outside the city.

I'd give a higher rating, but their "Eastern Canadian" Wildflower seed mix has multiple invasive species included.

I was in Halifax this past weekend (from NB) and I stopped to see what they had. I've been here before, but it's been several months. Anyway, I bought 3 plants and I had a little issue with one of them. I called them up today and the treatment that I received was amazing!! The manager explained things that I wasn't aware off, but still took care of it!! I will be back when I'm in Halifax again and I strongly recommend the place. Thank you so much for taking care of me 🙂

Nice variety of indoors plants ( including succlents and cacti) and lots of garden seeds for the summer. They also have products for hydroponics. Very helpful staff. This company has been around since the 1800's

First time there and was very happy with the store. I was on a time crunch so wasn't able to see the whole store but the prices were good and everything was easy to find.
