The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The only concern I have is that I chose this hotel because it had featured a hot tub that I looked forward to relaxing in the evening after a long day working. However, the hot tub was not working and the front desk staff pleasantly told me it hadn't been working for a long time and there was no intention or repairing/replacing it. This amenity should be removed from the website. Other than this I gave this hotel/staff and room a good review.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times with my crew, but each visit brings new disappointments that make it harder to keep coming back. Unfortunately, the issues never seem to get resolved.

For the umpteenth time, the hot tub is still broken. It's become a running joke at this point, but it's also incredibly frustrating, especially when it’s one of the amenities we specifically look forward to after a long day. What’s more concerning is that the elevator is now broken, and we had to haul our bags up the stairs — not ideal, especially after a long day of work.

To top it off, the front doors don’t even work properly. Every time we arrive, we struggle to get in, which should be a basic part of any hotel stay. It’s clear that maintenance is a recurring issue here, and it’s impacting the overall experience.

Unfortunately, despite being a frequent guest, I can’t recommend this hotel until they step up their maintenance efforts.

As a loyal customer of IHG hotels and whenever I'm out of town for business my first option is always holiday inn and was never disappointed until my last stay at Holiday Inn Drayton Valley. I stayed for 5 days and everything was good but the last two days I walk into the room and everything is clean except the toilet! All the washroom is clean with fresh towels but someone uses the toilet and never flush! This thing happened two days in a row and I ended up checking out a day earlier because of this. When I notified the front desk I didn't even get a proper explanation or a sorry just (sorry, have a good day). I expected to be treated as a valuable customer but unfortunately that never happened and this made me think why do I even bother going there and collecting points if that's going to be my customer experience! I hope this review reaches someone that actually care about the reputation of IHG customer service.

I was surprised to find out a week later that I received $100 charge to my credit card for damages when I had noticed the hotel return my deposit immediately after my stay. I contacted the hotel and they said it was a curtain that detached from the wall. I would assume this was wear and tear since I only opened it during the morning to let sunlight in. I didn’t even notice it when leaving. The manager has been slow to respond to me and still hasn’t explained why it cost exactly $100 to put new plugs into drywall. I don’t know how a 5 min job that would cost me $10 cost exactly $100.

I stayed for business for more than 22 days and i don’t experience any disappointment. I loved the room and bed keep fresh everyday, staff are very friendly specially staff in the breakfast nook. I definitely stay again.

The rooms was spacious and prepared well. However the pillows has a scent of a sweaty gentleman that has been working outdoor for the whole day or two.

We booked the rooms at a very busy time and the service was excellent. Friendly people make friendly guests. Our staff was well rested for the long days they have to put in. We will be back. Our techs meantioned that maybe the breakfast could be opened at an earlier time that would make the stay a little more enjoyable.
