The moment I walked in, I was surrounded by colour, texture, and inspiration. Jan's work is truly stunning! You can feel the care, artistry, and passion in every finished project she has on display and for sale! The yarns available are not only gorgeous but thoughtfully curated, with blends and hues that are perfect for any project.

There’s something really special about finding a local yarn shop that feels like a creative sanctuary, and JanKnits is exactly that. Whether you're a seasoned knitter or just starting out, this shop is a must-visit. I’m already dreaming about what I’ll make with the treasures I brought home and I can’t wait to return!

I called this shop to see if they carried the screw to hold the needle in my sewing machine that disappeared when moving. I was told no so asked if they could order one. I was told no again and that I needed to bring my machine in for servicing at $95 an hour. Say what? My machine didn't need servicing as I explained to the woman on the phone. I have been sewing for 66 years and am quite competent in taking my sewing machines apart, lubricating, oiling, changing cogs, etc. All my machine needed was the screw to hold the needle.

A great selection of yarns and sewing notions, plus Jan is always happy to help with projects when your stitches go awry!
I purchased my Husqvarna Topaz 20 from Jan and she has been very helpful with my projects since it's purchase. They do repair and support for machines as well!

Love this little shop and the wools are amazing! Janet is very knowledgeable and makes some great recommendations. I especially love the fair trade Manos de Uruguay wools carried here.

Dropped off sewing machine to be looked at…was never told of any minimum charge, expected a call to tell me what was wrong and IF I wanted to proceed but I just got call saying it was ready n went to get it and find out it was over $100 ….would have been nice to have been told about cleaning fee BEFOREHAND! Then I go to pick it up and there is no dust cover! I took it in with a cover but now they can’t find it and the response I get is “nothing I can do about it”…….this was TERRIBLE customer service, absolutely terrible! No apology, no offer to replace cover….nothing! Will never go there again
