10 STARS if I could. 5 weeks before Xmas, I had a sewer back-up into my fully finished basement with w/w carpet saturated. Once I talked with the insurance company, Wawanessa said to find someone who could do remedial work ASAP, the coverage would be worked out later. I called Jock's around 4:00, near quitting time, but Matt said he would get what crew he could and come right away. They stayed at least 3 hours stripping out sodden carpet, and moving furniture to safety, spraying disinfectant around to make my home safe to stay in. They returned the next day to pack up my bsmt contents, finish stripping all the w/w carpet out, removing all infected drywall/cupboards, soiled furniture, lots more disinfective spray & many big dryers set up everywhere. What I didn't know, but was so important, they took pictures, 360 degree videos of each room, clearly showing all the damage & everything they had to dispose of, this was huge in processing my insurance claim. Their knowledge & support made a horrible event 'handleable'. Throughout the process, they understood my anxiety & need for speed - which included them doing an entire bathroom rebuild - so our family could still come for Xmas and stay with us. December was a disaster in so many ways, but Jocks crew, co-ordinating with Peace Country Flooring, gave me back a functioning home for Christmas.
