They keep lots of boats parked here to give tourists and locals alike many wonderful photo opportunities. What a delightful public service! You can see boats at anchor, boats moored, boats sailing in, and boats sailing out. It's like a snow globe only with boats inside instead of a snowy cabin and itty bitty pine trees. Every time you look, the view changes. So be sure to come often. Like a good story, it never gets old.

This is one of our favorite stops on Lake Erie. A MUST-SEE for cruisers and Great Loopers. New docks and power posts this year, fast internet, fantastic water pressure, and the friendliest marina owners you will ever meet! if coming on a weekend, be sure to call or email a in advance. They can handle boats up to 60 feet, but it's a popular spot so make sure to get a reservation. They may not answer their phone because they are busy taking care of boaters, but they will respond quickly to emails or return your call later than night. The King George Bridge opens on the hour and half hour between 6am and 10pm. The marina is just past the bridge on the right. Also, very well protected in bad weather! We measured at least 7 feet along break wall with our dock pole. Can accommodate sail boats. Lots of great restaurants. Check out Trip Advisor to pick a few to try, and make sure to stop at Broderick's Ice Cream about 100yds from the marina. Nicest people and fantastic full-service ice cream shop!
