Beautiful lake and mountains.
Boat launch can get busy. The first sites are always full during peak seasons. Don't hesitate to take your camper in there. You might get lucky and find a spot.

Bring your canoe, kayak, or paddle board. The lake can get really calm on some days.

Stayed here one night in September 2022 after an epic journey up to Tuk. This place was so nice and so special that we fished the day and then stayed another night.

Best campground we had in Yukon and NWT, and well, nearly anywhere else.

beautiful, lakeside, very clean, but busy campground. its a 23 kilometers drive from the highway to the campground, on a terrible road. in my opinion, not recommended with a camping trailer or a 5th wheel.

Really had fun n Kusawa lake. You can do off roading using side by side but with very limited area for some of trail led us to private properties. also, has playground, nice sand by the water andddd water adventure is really good when you have boat and do fishing.

Stunning place to camp! Many waterfront sites some even with sandy beaches (which I find pretty rare compared to mostly rocky Yukon beaches). Water is vivid blue and crystal clear. Tends to be a very windy place so make sure to have tent pegs and suitable tethers so nothing blows away!

The road from the highway can get pretty rough depending on weather, season etc. Take it slow and watch and you'll be fine.

This is a busy spot and with no advance site reservation in the Yukon it is likely to show up to a full campground. Though there is a second campground on the lake about 1km away from the main one and also Takhini Campground nearby as well.

Kusawa Ridge is a great hike done right from the campground with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Make sure to do research and get a gps track of the trail since I found the trail a little hard to spot and follow with no signage or clear markings.

Great camping spot not many sites. Beautiful Beach 🏖️ great hiking. Very enjoyable. Took the paddle board out and it was a little Windy but great.

One of my favorites in the Yukon. It fills up quickly so getting there early is a good idea.
