On a fishing trip with family last week had a problem with my outboard motor. They came out and did a thorough examination and unfortunately could not find the problem after nearly 3 hours of tests, etc. Andrew explained that since they couldn't help fix the problem there would be NO CHARGE! He also called across the road to other repair place and told them what they had already checked and got us in there as well. Incredible service by a very knowledgeable technician. Very. very much appreciated. Never get something like that here in the states.

Wife gave me permission to purchase a sled .
Ski-doo offering zero% interest for 3 years , so I through a chunk of cash down on a new sled and financed the rest

Had a vocal agreement with LMG financing for 3 years of additional warranty if I accepted 2.9% financing which I accepted . This was explained to Lakeside during the paperwork process with the clerk .

Everything went very smooth up to this point .

Paperwork was submitted to LMG with the final sale cost .
What the clerk didnt notice , is they charged me for 3 years of additional warranty $2,760 when I had agreed to 3 years of free warranty with LMG .

When the final cost was submitted to LMG , they didnt notice that I had been charged for 3 years of additional warranty $2,760 even though they guy just got off the phone with me .

A day or two later , as I was going through my paperwork , I noticed the mistake and dropped by Lakeside to discuss the mix up .
I was instructed I would be getting a call from the owner ? No responce thus far . I have given Lakeside nearly 2 months to clear this up . Will not respond to any of my e mails .

I will be contacting the BBB and the Red Lake chamber of commerce regarding this .

Was this a mistake or did this also happen to you ? $2800 bucks is a good chunk of change .

Its a small town . I can imagine if I do have a warranty issue now , I am going to be thrown on the backburner .
Anyone want to purchase a new sled with 300km on it ? Give you a great deal .
Watch your paperwork with this establishmnet and LMG . Dont want to see the same thing happen to you.
I will never use LMG again .
Get preapproved with BRP instead .

Nothing but disappointment. Slow in getting parts in, slow in doing work (needlessly slow, not because they're busy). I try to go there to "support local" and they sell me the wrong stuff... Service is better and red lake marine, but they don't sell skidoo or yamaha, which happen to be the brands i have.
