Pretty expensive for a motel but they do serve breakfast ( unlike the usual motels ) and have a variety of items available. And yes , don’t fall for the average exterior , the interior was pretty surprising. The reception and the breakfast are is very neat and clean and well lit . The manager and the owner both were pretty kind people . The complimentary breakfast is continental and includes - cheese omelette , cereal ( 3 types ) , boiled eggs , rye bread , everything bagel , juice and coffee… yea .. pretty good for a motel . A few beautiful spots around but not right at the motel . Loved our stay here

For almost $200 a night it’s better to save your money and go somewhere else. The only good thing was the very polite and accommodating staff. The rooms were dirty from hairs, stains and duct tape on the beds to grime on the walls and doors. Dust covered almost the entire room. The bathroom looked like it was barely cleaned as well as the shower dripped all night. The light from outside shined through the curtains making the room bright all night. The air conditioning units look like they are from the soviet union era. The door knob fell apart when the key was put in it. Many other people in our group had the same issues and even locals have said it went downhill in the past few years.

The bed was comfortable, which is the single most important thing about a hotel room, and it was clean, but for the price ($180 incl tax) it was not what you would expect. The furniture was standard rural motel fare and the TV was fine, but there was no coffee in the room, the floors were like ice and the bedding was newish but quite cheap. The toilet paper roller in the bathroom was off kilter and made it very difficult to use. No kleenex. No coffee in the room (although there was a microwave and fridge.) The motel was mostly empty, but when a group arrived after us, they put them in the room right next door. They smoked right outside our door and the smoke smell came into our room and even stuck to our clothing. Breakfast was cold cereal and toast with cello wrapped muffins and unappetizing looking boiled eggs. Points for "real" (Tropicana) orange juice. No hot breakfast like we had read in other reviews. Next time we would stay in Dryden and drive the extra distance.

One night stay. Breakfast was slim pickings, and no coffee left. No attendant available to ask for more. There needs to be locks on the doors inside the room as an employee opened the door to my room, without knockings, they thought no one was there. The room was ok, semi clean-ish. Light switches could have used a wash. Most likely, I won't stay again.

Grew up in Sioux and actually my first job was cleaning rooms at this Motel. The price was high and there is no discounts for seniors, CAA or anything. ||Arrived and the beds were clean but there were sticky pop can rings on the bed side table, a pkg of crackers on the top of head board. The walls were dirty and the windows were as well. ||Went out to visit some friends came home to insufficient water being available so could not shower. We had to fill up a garbage can with water to flush the toilet. It was not fun. ||Went to get a refund the next morning and check out the continental breakfast which was less than appealing. Made toast and carried on to see more friends. Still next to no water available I might add ||Enough said stay was very disappointing and I will not return.

Needed to sleep as I’ve been driving and had to rest before I made another long trip. Rooms are nice and big but outdated furniture and washrooms are bare minimum. Ran out of toilet paper and tried to call to get more but at 12am nobody answered the phone at the front desk. 😫 also it is nice it was pet friendly as well. Beds are comfy and nice quiet place, I was able to rest and get some sleep.

I spent 2 nights here and what a pleasant surprise. Yes new owners trying the hardest to make it a really nice place and it takes time. I had no issues in getting a room for 2 nights even thought it was a busy weekend. This is on the main highway and so easy to find, not so far out of town to be bothersome, the towels were clean and fresh, the bedding was clean and fresh, the room had working A/C and that was great, the room did have cable TV, the restaurant was in full swing for breakfast and lunch.The rooms may be small but you are only sleeping in them not having a reception. Next trip I am staying here.
