I bought a laptop from this company. It was a used laptop but it looked brand new when I received it. It operates just fine with no issues. When I had questions, i called them and spoke with Frank. I have been to Laptop Depot twice now & on both occasions, I have been completely satisfied with everyone there. They are very polite, & most importantly, they listen to what you have to say. I've put a lot of trust, because of good reviews, and left my one year old laptop, as I thought in good hands. I had charging issue, seemed easy. It was weird that after picking it up, laptop wasn't turning on at all, and all I heard was that it would be easier to exchange motherboard. That's weird for a charging issue. After putting laptop in different service they informed me that someone was trying to do really weird things, and did really bad damage. They showed me that motherboard was totally burned!!! Plus all the data from hard drive disappeared. I'm really disappointed, instead of easy repair I have to buy new laptop now, not even talking about data I lost.

Took my laptop in for a small repair, there was a small spot on the screen that wasn't working. I paid over $100. It took 3 weeks for them to repair it and 2 days after their "repair", the entire screen stopped working. I took it back in and they said that it was my fault because I wasn't careful with the laptop even though it was sitting on my desk for the entire 2 days I had it after the repair. I asked them for a quote on the repair and they simply said "LCD is very expensive" and wanted me to leave it with them for another 2 days to assess the situation.

I will never ever go back to this place and I strongly recommend those that are looking for a decently priced repair to simply take their laptop somewhere else.

Kind and helpful staff,
They are genuinely interested in solving your problems aren't out for a quick payday. As long as you're clear about what you want, they'll be reasonable and can you can even negotiate going lower.
One time I came in with a broken laptop keyboard and they gave me a free one. I hope places like this stick around, really makes this city feel like a community.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were super kind, and went above and beyond to help me. I originally went in trying to remove a stripped screw from my old MacBook, then they helped me see if it would work again (It didn't). Since I needed a computer for my new job, I decided to buy a new laptop that day, the process was simple and fast and I had my new computer the same day. My laptop has worked perfectly since and they even installed open office for me since they knew I would be using it for work. Super professional business, and I would definitely recommend!!

The first thing I did when I got home from picking up my computer from Laptop Depot was to sit down and write this review. They definitely deserve 5 stars! My older laptop needed a new hard drive and a system restore, which was done quickly at a reasonable cost. I was afraid I was going to lose all my files and important bookmarks I rely on for my research, but they were able to save everything for me. Moe and Will are very knowledgeable about computers, but also honest, reliable, and kind - not intimidating if like me you feel out of your depth with techie matters. They were very patient in answering my questions. I don't think I would have had such good service from any of the bigger names in computer repair. Am recommending them to friends and family, definitely the place to go when your laptop conks out. Easy to get to from DVP Lawrence East exit, or 91C Woodbine bus. Thanks, guys!
