Stay away! Very poor service. It was going to take them a week to look at my computer where somewhere else they fixed it in 3 hours that day. Doing a bit of triage to assess the level of work required would help them improve their service. I met someone else that had been turned away the same day I did and found resourcefulness at the place we both ended.

Awesome store didn't need no appointment and they had exactly what I was needing for low cost . The only thing I really needed was 48 GB downloaded on to thumb drive . But this is were they could not help me . So had to go to another store for that service . In general though this store rocks with all the computer stuff are at . This is a geek haven if you need any computer stuff I'd go here . If they don't have it I'm sure they would get it for you . So ant computer stuff you neeed down town I'd go here first then check out others if they could not provide for you . I'm sure they would get or have what you'd need .

Based on all the positive reviews, maybe I caught the people who work here on an incredibly bad day. I called after being referred to them by the manufacturer of Lenovo after my new laptop arrived with a ‘dead spot’ on the LCD screen. They informed me that it was under warranty and they can replace the LCD with no issue. After explaining that I was starting school in the next 2 weeks, they referred me to Laurier computers to replace the LCD for me with likely a much quicker turnaround time.

First, the person who answered the phone didn’t even allow me to finish my explanation as to why I was calling for their help. He insisted I go through Lenovo to get a new unit. When I explained that I was calling them because of my hopeful quick turnaround time, he was dismissive of me but still transferred me to the “tech guy”.

When I explained the issue to the tech person, he insisted that one dead pixel is not considered a defect nor is it covered under warranty (contrary to what the manufacturer themselves told me). When I explained that I’m not sure if it’s one pixel or many (I personally have no idea how big one pixel is) and that there’s a ‘dead spot’ on the screen he just answered “one pixel is not a defect”.

I’m so disappointed as I was only looking for some help to fix my brand new computer screen before I start school. These two individuals were so passive aggressive and rude I ended up hanging up on them after stating I’ll just find somewhere else to go.

So if you ever need to call Laurier computers for assistance - I have no advice for you. I was super polite and attempted to articulate what I needed, but they completely dismissed me from the moment they picked up the phone.

I've just bought my fourth computer from Howard. He was able to help guide me towards fantastic specs and balanced my budget with my priorities. The machine is awesome and working like a charm! He Kept me in the loop all the way and so patient with my questions and concerns. Makes me proud to be using my new dev box.

Amazing customer service from these guys. They go completely out of their way to help you out. Especially thanks to Howard for such great service. Highly recommended! They have very fair prices and they definitely do not try to over sell you on products you don't need. I had a weird problem and not only did Howard find a unique solution, but he even came and helped install it. So thank you guys again!

Great service! I like to support this small business and I like being able to talk to the owner on the phone or face to face.

I have purchased at least 8 computers here and Paul is always helpful even though I don't know exactly what I want. He'll quickly put together a couple of options for me with his recommendations. Most of the time I can get what I order next day and I don't need to go into the store to order.

I highly recommend the experts at Laurie computer.
