Excellent beach for children. Nice clear water. Tons of parking. Bathroom facilities are of the Port-a-Potty type, but they are well maintained. Beautiful scenery everywhere and very quiet from traffic and city. When we went the water was very calm and warm. Clean beach and clean water is what makes this beach a great spot to go on a warm summer day. Large shallow areas make it great for toddlers. With the small waves makes it safe as well. Highly recommended for a young family.

Very quiet & close to a beach walk for a peaceful running or a romantic walk/hike over the rocks.

The beach is clean and parking is free!! Get there early to get a parking spot - like 10am is good. Today there were mostly families with young kids, not sure if it's like that all the time. Didnt feel crowded at all. Pleasant atmosphere.

Normally love this store but please update your store hours. I rushed down to Port to get paint only to find out they're closed before 4:30pm

Visited the store for Fusion Mineral Paint. The store owner was so helpful and the project we were doing became like one of her own! She was so engaged and interested!!!

Always a great spot for a family day at the beach.

Smaller, quieter and less 'beach cheese' than the large main beach makes it far more inviting for those who just want to relax instead of trying to recreate the volleyball scene from Top Gun.

The beach has a nice shallow area with the only complaint being the border of crushed shells along the water's edge but it's a minor complaint that doesn't hinder the experience much.

I prefer the little beach to the main beach for kids in particular as I feel less threat of drowning. Its always been much quieter, yet this year it has been insanely packed and busy. Still a lovely place to be.
