First time at this restaurant and will not go back again.
When we got there the place was full and we were seated by the door which was fine as we knew they were busy.
We ordered the mussels to start, my husband ordered the fish & chips for his main and I ordered the grilled chicken caesar salad for my main.

The mussels were good and my husband said his fish and chips were good.

The grilled chicken caesar salad was absolutely horrible. There was something completely off about the dressing and the “grilled chicken” was a frozen chicken fillet.

After our meals came, not one person came by to see how our meals were even though I was sitting there not eating.

It wasn’t until my husband had finished his meal that someone came by and asked how the meal was and at that time I told them about the salad which was still sitting in front of me. They did offer to make me a new salad however I declined as a chicken caesar salad isn’t that hard to make and if it wasn’t right the first time then I was pretty sure that it wouldn’t have been right the second time.

I have never sent a meal back ever in my life but I couldn’t eat the salad it was that bad and on top of that they refused to take the uneaten salad off the bill.

I ended up heating up leftovers for myself once I got home.

Also while there, there were a group of kids approx. 9 to 10 years old (I think they may have belonged to some sort of sports team) that I’m assuming were staying at the hotel. They were constantly running in and out of the restaurant (they were not eating in the restaurant), no parents anywhere in the vicinity and not once did any of the staff tell them to stop running in and out, banging around etc. They were running around in the hallways of the hotel, upstairs and I could hear the banging through the ceiling of the restaurant.

Horrible experience and will not be back.

Had two visits here.
The first one was really good, had wings and fries. Sauce on the wings was good but they weren't really crispy wings, the fries were nice and crispy. The server did come back a few times to check on us, restaurant was fairly busy but overall everything was good.
The second visit was basically trash. Had the "bourbon" chicken. There is absolutely no bourbon on this chicken, it tasted like bland soya sauce. The dish is so pitiful. I honestly didn't even leave full, it's pitiful. It's supposed to come with bell peppers and there were none. I paid $19 for pathetic frozen vegetables, a potato and a carrot chopped up with some kind of sauce that absolutely has nothing to do with bourbon on the very little pieces of dark meat chicken they served. It was absolute trash and the restaurant wasn't even busy and the server literally never came back. Not to ask if we wanted more beer, if our trash meal was good or if we wanted any other trash off that menu. Horrible. There no excuse for not coming back to a table, unless she realized we were served garbage and knew we were gonna say it sucked. Never returning!

Great staff, healthy options. Highly recommend!
It’s my favourite place in town to eat. Great staff and service and it’s the best place in town for delicious and healthy food options. Unfortunately they had to take their house made hummus bowl and sandwich vegetarian options off the menu as there was not enough order’s but have other options that can be made vegetarian.

The hotel staff are also the bartenders so I went two days trying to catch the front desk staff before getting the wifi password. The staff seem to hang out/ socialize at the hotel/ bar so I was never sure who was working.

I did appreciate the large bureau, and decent sized mini fridge. It was not wheelchair accessible or mobility friendly, no ramps and every entrance has stairs.

Restaurant service was great but the menu online is different than in the restaurant.

It’s a lovely restaurant. Very nice, appearance wise.

BUT we had to order 4 times to get a meal that they actually had the ingredients for. They had enough veg for only one meal - a chicken skillet. The veg were broccoli STOCKS, crumbs of chicken and potatoes and a small pieces of peppers I have never heard of potatoes in a skillet meal. If you ran out of veg - maybe go to dominion and restock, it was 7:30pm.

We ordered Caesar salads with chicken and they were $17 and the size of a small cereal bowl with one small chicken strip chopped up. Tasty but very skimpy. We are visiting from out of province and was expecting way better. Staff could not comp anything as there was no managers on site. They could only write a note for owners.

Great restaurant, staff is friendly, nice atmosphere, and food is amazing!! Highly recommend the Lu's burger, simply delicious!!

We had The Acadian cater our wedding and everything was so delicious. The food showed up on time and was nice and hot and very fresh. The lasagna was a big hit! Doreen was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. Would certainly recommend and use their service again.

Frozen fries within our cooked ones burger was burnt and dry mayo wasn’t mayo wings weren’t crispy .
