We purchased a Mackie home - their Thornbury model, in the fall of 2022.

It was meant as a short-term starter home but we quickly fell in love with the homes high quality, thoughtful layout, and beautiful designs.

We are a young family of 3 and this home is perfect for us. It’s just what we need in terms of size and especially layout. The large bedrooms and bathrooms provide ample room for living and storage. We especially like that the primary bedroom is down the hall from the remaining 2 bedrooms to provide some privacy.

The main floor is just the right size for a family gathering, as well as a night spent in. The finishing touches of hardwood flooring, quartz countertops and fireplace mantle create an inviting space for our family to feel at home.

We trust the builders at Mackie to provide exceptional service and quality and would build with them again in a heart beat!

We were pleasantly surprised that during the pandemic, our build faced no delays and our home closed on schedule, something we have heard is very uncommon from other builders over the past couple of years.

I absolutely recommend purchasing from Mackie Homes, and if/when we outgrow our current house, we will certainly return to Mackie Homes to build our next!
