I've been using Douglas Specialties Ltd. services for quite some time, both professionally and personally. The quality of products is superb, often better than industry leading online retailers.

Prices are highly competitive whether your needs are small or large. I've personally used their services for making business cards and large stanchion banners. All were top quality that are still in use years after the fact.

Professionally I've used Douglas services a lot. Such as pamphlets for large community events which were highly detailed and top quality. Or window decals to share messages in store-front windows. All at prices better than I could find in the large cities.

Services aside, Carmen the shopkeeper, is a fabulous woman. Very positive, friendly, engaging, and patient when working towards my needs. Highly recommend.

I tried to find information on pricing online with no luck. I wanted to shop local and support small business rather than ordering online or from Edmonton. I still need to be able to compare pricing for the amount of product I need to have made, as my business is just starting out and I can’t afford a small fortune just on business cards.
I went into the store to get a feel for their brand, check prices, and see about their process. I snapped a photo of the pricing so that I could compare it to some of the other places I was considering ordering from, and the lady working there flipped out on me. She doesn’t like people seeing her pricing. It’s a business where you sell things. I’m slightly confused as I needed the price reference to move forward.
I never leave reviews anywhere, but I have never felt so mistreated and rudely spoken to. I will not be returning here. We should focus more on being kind to each other. Life is hard enough, and rudeness is unnecessary.

The quality is nice. And photos are printed in a professional and timely manner. Just the cost is a lot more then the average print shop.
E.g. 4x6 = $1.25, and 5x7 = $3.00 and
8x10= 9.00
So, for a large order of pictures. This place can add up very costly. The quality is nice. I would definitely recommend this place for a sharp picture on the wall, or a nice logo business sign. But if getting a large order of photos for scrapbooking it adds up too costly.

Douglas Specialties Ltd. is awesome! Needed signs made for my wedding and they did a beautiful job! Also, for work we go to them when we need any big projects printed or if we cannot figure something out and they always deliver exceptional work! Excellent customer service and great prices!!!

Decided at the last minute to run in local election phoned, visited, they sent a proof 2 days later the signs were done finished. Awesome service and advice would highly recommend. Very professional. Fair price for service provided.
