I'm a tech entrepreneur who would like a bit of help. They scheduled a meeting at their office, but then bumped the meeting for internal business and didn't even call me. Even though they were in the building, it didn't occur to anyone to come to the empty reception area to let me know my meeting got pushed aside. I don't know if it was a test to find out how much abuse I would take to get where I want to be, or if it was just a gross lack of consideration. Either way, it's not how I do business. Whatever help they offer, I would rather just figure it out myself than be treated like my time has no value.
