Beautiful, quiet, well organized and maintained on the shore of Big Lake. Cabine 6 is well equipped with everything you need for a family of 5 or more.
8 min drive from the nearest town with supermarkets, shops and few restaurants.
Rodney the owner is super nice, super friendly and was extremely helpful in making our short stay in Manitoulin Island pleasant and memorable.

REALLY enjoyed our stay at the Maple Grove Cottage this past weekend. We stayed in cottage #2 and had a great experience. The owner, Rodney, is polite, friendly and helpful with suggestions to visit around the area. Oakley the dog is adorable! We enjoyed our private spot on the lake and although it's off peak season, the water was warm and we went swimming along with kayaking. If it rains, there is a massive collection in the main office of books, movies and board games to pass the time. Im looking forward to booking next year as the majority of the summer and fall is already booked up (I totally get why, it's a wonderful spot). Highly recommended!

If you are staying here, I HIGHLY recommend gardens gate restaurant which is a 12 minute drive from the cottage. Amazing food, amazing views and service - cannot go wrong! I added photos for reference, decision is yours :).

This year is our second year staying here, and I can confidently say that you can never get tired of it! Beautiful scenery, great services, and the cottages are nice and clean! The water is clean and warm so I amused myself by swimming in the lake. There's also a BBQ set as well as camp fire. Firewood is provided. The Wi-Fi connection here is stable and fast! It was fun just walking around the area too. A very relaxing environment. Loved it. I really enjoyed my stay here and I highly recommend it!

It was OK in overall. Expect that It's not the luxury cabin. But very family friendly and beautiful spot at the lake for sure. The owners were nice. The cabin was clean. Had mosquito net installed terrace, fireplace, Barbecue. Seems good place for summer with many features this place has. Kitchen is simple but good to be able to cook your own food.
I didn't like the tiny shower area. And there were few things hope to be improved.
The bed we are sleeping was very uncomfortable. The mattress seemed broken and the bed size was quite small for 2 adults. So it was hard to have a good quality of sleeping. And the cottages were close each others and the windows curtains are still open from the side and kitchen window don't have curtains so you wouldn't have 100 percent privacy.

This cottage was absolutely wonderful! 3 bedrooms and 2 single cots to use, a very well equipped kitchen with a full-size stove, fridge, and a BBQ on the side deck. The Great room was very spacious with lots of seating and large flat-screen TV. A ceiling fan in this area helped to keep the air moving. The dining table overlooks the back deck, and so does the small round breakfast table. When you step through from the entrance, this place seems to go on and on and on! A king, queen, and double beds await you, and there are even 2 single cots to use as well. 2 bathrooms (a 4 pc and a 3 pc) are very handy when you have a cottage full of people. The Owner is very courteous, respectful, and helpful when you find yourself in a bind. The grounds are well-kept and maintained, and the sporting activities/rentals are numerous at very decent prices. This was our first time .. and we are penciled in for next year 'cause we really had a great time there!! See you next year 😊✨️🎉

Excellent choice for a stay on Manatoulin Island. Great location, close to anything you would want to visit. Really appreciated the warm welcome and helpful tips from the manager. Clean park, set at a beautiful location by the lake, very quiet, great playground for little ones. Cottage (#3) is well equipped and our stay was very comfortable. Good utensils and appliances. Could use some more storage space in kitchen and bedrooms. Unfortunately plenty of bugs outside. Porch is gated with bug screens, very helpful! Would highly recommend.

We stayed 4 beautiful nights at this remarkable place. The owners, and family and extremely kind and helpful making your stay as best as possible. Our cottage was well suited for our family with kids and the waterfront was our evening retreat to cool off after a day of touring. Our only regret is that we should have booked it longer, but know so for next visit! Thank you for a memorable family vacation!

Spent a couple nights in Cottage #4 and was so happy we did! It was clean, cozy, had everything we needed, including the electric fireplace/stove which really helped on that rainy and cold Saturday! We didn't get to enjoy the outside much, but it had a BBQ, picnic table, fire pit and chairs for the perfect camp fire evening, and on the dock in front were two bright chairs to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Definitely recommend!
