Beware!! Be prepared for them to take your money on special order items and not order your product! Was hoping to get products locally rather than going to the city. Even though price was a bit cheaper in the city. Special ordered some product but they required it to be prepaid. Understandable but after that was paid, couldn’t get ahold of them. After over a month finally got ahold of them and the product hasn’t even been ordered yet! So you took my money for a month and did nothing with it Claims they were too busy. I disagree that’s just being disorganized. So I suggest you just drive on by and head to the city. I will be from now on.

Regards to your reply. That is not what the sales person told me. Once I finally got ahold of them They told me they never did place the order with the vendor.

The staff and sales desk at Matix Lumber are very courteous and helpful. Lately, I have been unimpressed by some of the other building supply retailers, but, not these guys. The shopping experience was quick, friendly and trouble free. Try Matrix Lumber if you desire friendly and helpful people and products at a fair price. 👍

Although I haven't personally been to this store, one of their workers stopped to help me with my flat tire on the side of the road. I didn't catch his name, but I greatly appreciated that he stopped to help.

As a small business owner I figured I would travel 20km to visit Matix Lumber (Seeing as how they are locally owned and operated), and I love supporting local businesses. I was very disappointed in my overall experience and especially dealing with Sue Matic. She had a condescending attitude and was extremely unhelpful. I will not be visiting this establishment again. You are better off going to Rona, at least they know how to treat a customer!
