I am so grateful for Memory Lane. Without their help, my point of sale terminal would still be down. I appreciated Gabe coming down to assess the situation, and then subsequently sending a tech to help remedy the solution. From start to finish, they were professional, kind, and most of all, so helpful. They took a dire situation and immediately made it so much better. Thank you, Gabe, and all the staff! You guys are amazing; I wish I could hug you, but it would be weird.

Brought my gaming pc to them, after having a black screen issue that had me stumped. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue within a day, and also pointed out my cpu didn’t have adequate cooling. Awesome customer service. Definitely check them out for any of your computer needs, including repair and service.

My experience with Memory Lane computers was bad. i had brought a video card in that had needed a heat sink and fan replacement because the OEM one was on its way out.I was told it would only take till early to mid afternoon. so i brought in the hardware. I hadn't heard back so i called them around 3 to get an update. The gentleman has said there was missing parts from the box, Specifically a plastic shroud.
i quickly found it and rushed down to get it to them. once i arrived they have brought the after market cooler out to me with a missing post to mount it to the video card and the fourth post in bits.
with out it the after market heat sink cannot be used and possibly not returned. When i was talking to the technician i was told
"the post looked to already be a little bit bent" and he continued to try and use it instead of calling me.as a person who's worked in the customer service as well as IT sector, this is unacceptable. No call for follow up or call to let me know anything was missing. instead the tech tried to use the apparently defective part, broke it, and then even tried to jerry rig it a second time to make it work without contacting me.It doesn't end there. later that night i received a text from the tech about rectifying the situation. in which i was hesitant at first and then i was going to allow it.
so i was going to make a deal. if he could get the OEM fans to replace the dead ones with i would let them do the repair. he said he would see if he could source the Parts.so i sent a link to an ebay ad to what i had found. and received no response back. with 8 hours of the store being open the next day, no response from the Tech.

Walked into the store to pick up my computer and the worker who fixed it who told me it would be ready and fixed that day (he called at 12) and I went in and it wasn’t done. A 240$ repair was much more. It was now going to be an extra 600$ (plus labour) because of his mistake not giving me a proper quote. So now I’m down 240$ and a broken pc. Also got treated terribly and told him to have a nice day and then didn’t even get a response.

Every time I asked a question about how to go about getting the video card fixed I got a snarly and rude response like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Maybe I don’t but why should I get treated like that for trying to understand.
Couldn’t tell if I was in a store or a boot camp the way I was being talked too
Definitely wouldn’t recommend and not gonna go back any time soon.

On the day that I had to take my PC in last week, I had been having some booting issues with my PC for a few days. Everything booted on BUT the monitors, I am not very tech savvy in the way of taking apart my computer and figuring out why things aren’t working correctly without risk of doing more potential damage. (I had previously taken my PC to a different Location and they told me that nothing was wrong - waste of $80.) Once I dropped it off at Memory Lane I got a call within 2 hours from the tech saying that he had figured it out and it’s now booting as it should with no issues. Since getting my PC back there has been absolutely no issues that I have been able to see.
Memory Lane staff is knowledgeable, respectful, well priced, and an all around great place to take your computer to if you’re having issues with it.

Criminals when it comes to products. Specifically their SSD hard-drives. They are charging DOUBLE what everywhere else is.
A WD-BLACK 1TB drive sells literally for $105.99 canadian or less everywhere. Bestbuy, Staples Amazon, etc. These guys are selling them for $200!!!!!!!
Idk how these guys even have a business still with absolutely sideways pricing like this.
When confronted about it they just shrugged and blamed big box stores. This is exactly what people can't shop local anymore. Take your money elsewhere.

Dave did a great and quick job cleaning my laptop fans and reapplying thermal paste. I told them I needed it done quickly and they had it done within the hour. Very happy. Great service also from Hayden, and quick email replies from Jarrett.
