Never in my life have I been so thoroughly jerked around by a company.

I bought a Motorola Razr+, and the screen protector began to crack after a couple months of light use.

The phone nags at you constantly to make sure you never remove that precious screen protector. And one of the pamphlets in the box urges you to contact Motorola for support in the event of a problem with that protector, as failure to address it could permanently damage the screen itself.

I did as I was told. And Motorola claims that screen protectors falling apart are considered “physical damage” and therefore not covered by the warranty. I’ve been trying to get this resolved for a month now.

They don’t stand by their products. And even trying to talk to someone is an exercise in frustration. They don’t have a supervisor on duty at their call centres, forcing you to wait for a callback. And when the call comes, it’s from a phone number belonging to Amerant Bank. Meaning you can’t call them back should you miss that call. It’s like they know they made a dud of a phone and are trying to discourage people into giving up on the warranty that they should be entitled to.

Do yourself a favour: Run fast and run far.

Just writing to inform anyone who's upset with their phone, that this is not Motorola Mobility, it's Motorola Solutions. The 2 are completely different. They were split in 2011. "Ma'am, this is a Wendy's"

If I can, will give them zero star. My daughter purchased a phone for her dad on March 18 which was said to be delivered to wrong address and got rejected. My daughter has followed up multiple times on phone and was always asked to call back later for an update. They said they need to investigate and is still holding on to the phone. I don't understand why they can't simply give her another one and they can keep investigating on the original one till the end of time. My daughter called them again today to cancel purchase for refund and was told to call back later because supervisor is not here. Will update review later after she has spoken to their supervisor.

I will never buy a Motorola Product ever again. They provided me with a defective phone and they refuse to replace it. Their warranties mean nothing and they have terrible customer service.

NOT a very user-friendly company. I had a warranty question and phoning them just gets you a recording to "press '1' to get the automated company directory" - no point, unless you know who you want to talk to. I also visited the office and the elevator in the building won't take you up to that floor. You have to get someone to come down and get you. Dealing with them it's just not worth the aggravation!

WARRANTY DENIED.

My normal facing camera stopped working. The warranty was denied because of a small surface scratch in the plastic (see picture). This has nothing to do with the camera and is a result of making the phone cheap. The plastic cracked just from trying to put on a case and was never dropped.... Also in they state nothing in their warranty policy that says it should be denied unless the resulting damage was from neglect, where clearly it wasn't.

Later, my phone screen stopped working (again never dropped or abused). Instead of dealing with Motorola, I went on bought an unlocked Galaxy S4. It's faster and isn't broken.

Lessons learned: DON'T BUY MOTOROLA. BUY A SAMSUNG.

Motorola does not back up their products anymore, Lenovo has ruined the brand. I bought a Motorola cellphone and a smart watch and both started acting up and then died. Company doesn't provide updates for known issues. Used to be a quality brand with good warranties but not anymore. Buyer beware.
