Decided to take a little break from Fish and Chips and found Newlander Meat Shop near where I was staying. Loved the variety of homemade sausages. They had a number of hot sauces and spices.
The staff were welcoming and there were many creative sausages to choose from, dill pickle, maple blueberry, smoked Texas Twinky, however regrettably I wasn't that courageous and settled on my favorite hot sausages and burgers. They were really good! I also couldn't resist Grammies Mustard pickles. 🙂

Look forward to being more adventurous on my return visit to CBS!

Awesome shop with awesome products. I'm absolutely spoiled after grilling and eating the things we've bought. Steak, sausage, tri-tip roast, and picanha steaks. You just can't go wrong with anything from their cases

I mean what can I say. It's definitely not your mom n pops grocery meat. If you want the real deal bbq meat or oven meat etc. come here. If you're okay with the fake stuff that's injected with red dye every damn day of the week to help lure you in to buying that quick way to die of cancer they call meat, well nice knowin ya, what a shame.
Also we need more business in the st.john's area like this

We liked their stuff so much, we went back for a second go-round! Steaks, burgers, sausages and a sweatshirt! A fun group of people, awesome selections and prices are spot on. Waiting on their dry aged meat to be ready!

We got the call for the dry aged steaks this past Friday , went there within the hour and pick two great looking steaks. They asked when we were planning on having them, said New Year’s Eve. They partially vacuum sealed them and said they would keep nice and be ready for then.

Did them to medium rare and sat down for supper. I can only hope our next sampling of their dry aged steaks will be even better than these ones! You will be amazed at how good they taste, how tender they are and how fast you’ll eat them up!

Great spot for premium cuts of beef, pork etc. Also awesome sausages. Prices are quite reasonable for quality cuts of meat. Staff is knowledgeable. Very positive experience. I will definitely make this store my stop for all my meats.
