Working from home was starting to become a challenge, so I needed a cost-efficient option. After calling a number of places, Northspace fit the bill in every sense. Shlomo was such a pleasure to talk to and made the entire process simple. The unlimited coffee is a huge bonus, and there are freezers, fridges where you can store your meals. But, by far, the biggest advantage that Northspace offered was the 24 x 7 access. Most places I called had different rates if you wanted to stay past 5pm. Parking is unfortunately not included, but at $6/day, it is far cheaper than parking downtown.

Overall, 5 stars for cost-efficiency, amenities (coffee, fridge, dishwasher), and the location (Don Mills/Eglinton, right next to Sobeys).

I've been coming to this co-working space for about 3 months. So far, I love it! It's got a cozy vibe and you can choose from hard chairs, sofa, standing high tables to work from. A perfect workflow for my hunching back!
I also like the view from the outside! Located in the 7th floor, you can see clearly from Toronto Eglinton highrises to Scarborough's building district. Nice relax for my eyes after hours of screen time!

I love this place not only because the workspace itself is amazing and trendy, but also because of its vibe within, because of the community of entrepreneurs. When you sit there and breath, you can just feel the energy.

We had our baby shower here last Nov and its an absolutely beautiful place. The guests loved it. We're just very frustrated that it's very hard to get any replies to emails or calls. We're trying to book this place for another event but I sent an email 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten a reply. Communication was not good when planning our baby shower too. I really love this place and would give 5 stars but not sure if it's worth it to stress over not getting replies.

We rented this venue out for our event a couple of weeks ago. It's a nice space but that's about it. Shelled out $1600 for 6 hours ...we visited twice before hand to let them know how we want the space laid out (furniture removed or moved to the side etc.) They assured us this would be done before our event time but when we arrived for our event nothing was laid out how we had requested. We even had to pay for setup and cleanup time while doing this all ourselves.
Don't even try calling or emailing them, it'll be ignored.

We had our event at Northspace, but unfortunately it was below our expectations.
Our team was expecting the setup for our layout to be ready before they arrive as per our discussion with one of the staff.
However, our team noticed the setup was not changed from the original layout as we have requested and they had to spend almost half an hour to move the tables, sofas and chairs around plus do the decorations to have it ready before the guests arrival.

This process actually took half an hour of the event time, which we think we shouldn't be doing ourselves as Northspace have confirmed they will be taking care of it. But we had to ask our own team to do it themselves plus we ended up being charged for it!

We would have appreciated having the setup ready before they arrived. As they even arrived after 5:45 pm, which has made our event even shorter than what we have planned

Will not recommend this venue to anyone who is expecting a serious commitment from their vendor

Beautiful Place but terrible management team.

I tried to book this place for a Pop Up Cafe through Eventective. We first inquired all the way in April for an event in August. I paid the deposit eager to secure the space. However, I never signed the contract because they were supposed to clarify some things for the venue. We visited the venue in person after to discuss more about the event. They knew my intentions to cook and serve food at the venue as it was obviously first inquired as a pop up cafe.

As we met in person we were denied a lot of the things we wanted to do to the space, such as hanging decorations. They told me their paint job is so cheap, a previous event used tape to hang decorations and it peeled off after. They weren't able to match colour, so no decorations anymore. I was also told that I wasn't allowed to rent the equipment I typically use for a pop up (i.e deep fryer)

The management kept giving me useless reference about his personal life instead of knowing anything about the venue. If an air fryer destroys your wall outlet at home why is that relevant to the venue? I had inquired about whether the space could handle the voltage of rented kitchen equipment and I would adjust my food menu according to the things I wasn't allowed to bring in. They said they would check and get back to me but never did. If I couldn't do all of these things despite them knowing it was supposed to be a pop up cafe why did they take my money.

Soon it became too late to even rent any equipment because they were booked already. I still hadn't signed the contract and had ask for my money back because clearly they couldn't meet any of my conditions. They only want to discuss things over the phone but never get back to you. What's the point of asking me to call and discuss when you can't remember and do your due diligence.

Such a scam of a venue. I ended up canceling the event because they're so unorganized. They didn't want to return my money. They acknowledged that we both parties don't have a signed contract in writing and still don't pay it back. Why agree to book a specific event but tell the organizer that they can't do any of the things they need for the event. They only want to discuss things over the phone to keep things off the record. Since the event passed they have never responded back to me.

Terrible management. Huge waste of time and scammers.
