Brought the kids to the beach and stopped here for lunch. The service was top notch and the food was great! The portions are huge and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. So glad I found this place n can’t wait to go back!

Every trip has its surprises, and tonight it came at Lock 6 in Frankford. Just a short two-minute walk into the park, perched near the ice cream concession and the showers, sits a small food trailer run by my new friend Jimmy. No fuss, no neon, just him working the grill and fryer with focus and pride. I walked over expecting a quick bite, and walked away with one of the best meals I have had in years.

The fries were the first revelation. Hand cut, rough edges intact, cooked in pure beef tallow the way fries were always meant to be before the world decided vegetable oil was good enough. It is not. Vegetable oil can never compete with the richness, the depth, the crisp-meets-soft perfection that beef tallow brings. These were golden, blistered just right at the edges, and impossibly satisfying.

Then came the burger. Fresh beef smashed flat until the edges caramelized, the juices dripping into a soft bun, topped just enough to support the meat without stealing the show. Honest food, stripped of gimmicks, the kind that makes you slow down just to enjoy every bite.

Covered picnic benches give you a place to sit, nothing fancy but exactly what it should be. This is the kind of stop that reminds me why I will always be a burger slut, forever chasing the next perfect plate of fries and a burger that does not apologize for being real.

I’ve had a lot of smash burgers in my life, but this one was really an OG smash. 100% grass fed lean ground beef and the fries fried in beef tallow, not only did it taste great, but you feel great after eating it.

1st time here, 100% would recommend. The owner working was polite and served us quick. The food was hands down top smash burger we’ve had. The atmosphere is awesome, there’s a pavilion, beach, park, badminton, basketball. Thank you!!

First time and it won't be the last. Service was great and super fast. The dillicious poutine and their Nashville chicken were better than most restaurants i go to and im from Toronto. If you're ever around the area definitely make this a stop you style wont regret it.

We were traveling thru the Trent-Severn by boat and stopped at Lock Wall #6. I walked over to grab smash burgers for lunch and was able to chat with Jimmy, the owner. The smash burgers were delicious! Clean ingredients, made with care and specifically how you want it. The fries are fresh cut daily and fried in beef tallow & were addictively good! If you are in the area, it's a great place to stop, picnic tables & beach close by - with delicious food! Sorry, didn't get a picture of the delicious burgers!
