We purchased (2022) software and hardware from Oliver. Despite promises, the hardware still does not work after 1.5 years (!). We cannot use the self-scan kiosks and handheld scanner because they do not have a license for payment traffic in Europe (which is the reason given). Despite promises in zoom meetings that they will take back the hardware, no further response has been forthcoming for weeks. This cost us thousands of euros. Both Austin (the seller) and Mathias (the CEO) do not respond despite emails, telephone calls and the chat function on the website. We have paid for both software and hardware that we cannot use. I still hope they resolve it properly and take the hardware back and reimburse us.

Great system and amazing support. I've been using Oliver for over a year and we have only run into minimal issues. When something comes up Oliver is there to help usually within an hour. They have responded and solved every single issue and question that I have brought up in a timely manner. Highly Recommended.

I have used a few WooComerce POS systems over the years and Oliver is by far the best and most reliable by far. I would highly recommend Oliver to anyone looking for a full featured reliable Point of Sale system. Also their support is very responsive.

OliverPOS is absolutely horrible. The marketing team gives the illusion that they are a legitimate business and in the initial meetings they reassure you that their software can handle whatever you need. They advertise integrations and services that don't even work in the most basic definition of the word. So many issues with incorrect totals being charged, tickets printing improperly. "Complex products" supposedly support the product add ons feature, which was critical to my clients business, and from the beginning we have had problems with it. FortisPay is also a joke - they advertised integration, but it doesn't even support partial payments, and more than half the time the web app for OliverPOS doesn't even communicate with the terminal. The dev team is outsourced and does not communicate well with their office in Canada.

There is still a need in the market for a product like what OliverPos is advertising, but they are not it.

For the past two years, I've been looking for THE perfect checkout system to be able to have a single inventory and manage my site and store in real time.
Oliver POS works perfectly with WooCommerce, allowing me to maintain a single inventory for my physical store as well as my online ecommerce site. Austin and Uzair were incredibly responsive during the installation process, they answer emails, provide answers, I'm blown away...Especially since I had more help on a free version, than on advanced and extremely expensive software. Customer service is top notch with Austin and Uzair.

Many improvements are still possible to push the capabilities of this software even further, such as adding a "birthday" field for the customer or his interests.
This will allow to prepare even more efficient offers and email campaigns, even if Oliver already has many powerful analysis tools such as the number of sales per day, the number of items, the distribution by payment method and so on.

Moreover, everything is provided to export data via excel.

Here is a concrete case of possible improvement: a customer arrives at the checkout and the product is not created on woocommerce, it would be great to be able to add a product and a price in a few seconds on oliver, rather than having to create the product on woocommerce and having to restart the interface before entering the sale.
We also have the possibility to add a discount but not to increase the price of an item that would have been mislabeled for example.

In any case, if you are looking for THE cash register software to use, go for it!
