The only issue I have is the request to fill the forms online, despite asking so many times to fax them as the doctors don't fill forms online, which is requiring spending extra time as I need to contact Opifiny back every time to fax the requests and very frequent reminders. Other than that, no major concerns.

Dealing with opfiniy requests has caused a HUGE increase of work when trying to complete forms. Also, the expectation that physicians agree to the terms and conditions of their site is completely inappropriate. I encourage everyone to read them and see what they are agreeing to.

Increases in time in the following ways
1. Staff has to write them every time to have them send the form via fax as I will not use their online platform.
a) I will not agree to the terms and conditions as they are inappropriate and I am not putting my licence on the line should something on their end happen.
b) Filling it out online requires more time from me as I have to print all documents and then upload to the system instead of just fill it out and have staff scan it in.

2. Requests are almost always incomplete and do not meet the standards such requests are supposed to. - This means staff have to fax or call in order to receive information.

3. Frequent "reminder" faxes every few days for staff to go through.

There is no technical support available in real-time and the login process has been extremely buggy for me. As a physician I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to problem solve logging in, so the promise of easy to do has been far from accurate. The one time I did speak with a live agent, they had called back when I was not at a computer and reassured me that the login details I had were correct and would work, but they have not. Replacement codes have not worked, and I continue to get their form faxes telling me that they are waiting for my response. In fact, it is the opposite.

****Update***
No change from before. Even years later (original review in 2022), the website is glitchy. I will not complete any Opifiny requests any more and I would advise others to do the same.

A couple years after raising my concern with the Opifiny website, I decide to give them another chance thinking they had good time to fix things and make the process better. I was absolutely wrong. The website still has glitches. I was not able to login. Don't get me wrong because I work with computers and website regularly, and keep record of my login details. I even went to reset my password in case it needed to be updated, which it said was successfully done, but still the same error message that says "Error for site owner" (see attached screenshots). No customer support still. Basically it was wasted time and unnecessary frustration. I would not trust this company with handling personal information or money transactions. I thought I would not be as harsh when I made my original review by giving them 3 stars, but this is more reason to downgrade my rating to 1 star.

Manulife has started using Opifiny to try to streamline paperwork. This software/service has been more of a headache and has taken a lot more unnecessary time to deal with. First they bombarded me with faxes every two days asking to sign up to use their system. I find that a waste of paper and very annoying. If they would have the courtesy and respect to consider there may be other things keeping us busy.

In trying to work with their system, there were some technical issues on their end with their website, but there was no one available to help with support. No one picked up on their support line. Even calling their main number went to an operator's voicemail. I would make note this was during regular business hours and making sure it wasn’t during lunch. Very frustrating.

Recognizing this is a small developing company, I won’t give a completely negative review. The concept is there for streamlining the paper process. However, there is a lot more that is needed for a better way for this system to work for me to want to use it again.
