I haven’t had any issues until our last bin dump. The driver threw out our brand new lawn furniture that was behind, not touching, our bin. It had been moved the night before as we were cutting the lawn. Upon contacting the office to ask about whether or not throwing away things that are near the bin is normal, the receptionist was rude and didn’t even offer an apology, which most people with common courtesy would do. We have never had garbage, or anything near the bin before this. Customer service could use an overhaul.

We live in the county of Camrose and have been with OPT for 2 years, I can honestly say they have the best customer service in the area for any waste management company. We phone to schedule our pick ups on our allotted days. I phoned last week, got booked in but they forgot us. I didnt realize until the weekend the dumpster hadnt been dumped, phoned and left a message on the machine to see why and was just expecting a call back and for them to tell me id have to wait until the next dump day. Monday morning they sent a truck out just to come clean out our dumpster, without having to phone and pester! Great company and have recommended them to everyone we know on acreages.

Timely emptying of Garbage and Cardboard bins. The booking lady on the phone is courteous. I've had one issue with the service where they mistakenly emptied the wrong bin, OPT handled the resolved the situation quickly. The drivers are skilled as they must back through our usually full parking lot then into our gated yard. Overall I am very happy with the service provided.

Inconsiderate waste removal truck drivers that bang garbage bins around and then use their backup alarm at 0600., even after they have been told they are disturbing people. I will not tolerate it and no one else should. Causing a disturbance and ruining my quiet peaceful enjoyment of my property is unacceptable and I will not accept being disturbed by a business. Garbage pickup being deemed an essential service does not entitle the service providers to abuse other peoples right's disturbing people before 0700hr. I believe this is done just to accommodate their schedule, which is an unacceptable reason, and they should at least, out of decency, observe the bylaw which is no noise before 0700. They need to learn it and don't disturb anyone again!
